Good morning Stringers ![]()
Super day here in the wonderful west!
No 'formal' work for me today but I seem to have been busy this morning nonetheless lol
Some time in the gym, then a swim in the pool then off to make a mortgage payment on the vet's extensions lol
Thank heavens I have no need of any medication - LL has cornered the market in it .... the kitchen bench looks like a pharmacy ![]()
Hmmmm, I wonder where our Deb has gone for the day ![]()
J*oono - yours and Prim's comments about curry have got me salivating - the dinner is decided! Thanks ![]()

Poor LL. When Buzz was around I had a large snaplock bag with all his medicines in it. Medication alone was probably $200/month.
Enjoy your dinner. Curry was good. It was a fish one made with just frozen pink ling. I love fish curry but I don't make it often as the boys would prefer something a bit meatier but they still like it.
Tonight I have the night off because they are going to the pub to watch the Dockers and will get themselves something there or on the way home. For me it could be a Lean Cuisine night 😄

Hi j*oono
Good thinking re the medications - you are obviously much more organised than I am lol
Like your boys, I prefer meatier curries ....... a Thai chicken curry is winning with my taste buds right now but that could change through the afternoon lol
Had totally forgotten about the game tonight - think I am suffering from sport overload at the moment - so thanks for the reminder.

yum chicken curry that mum used to make was the best...I have tried to "copy" her recipe but it`s not the same:-(Finally what seems like ages I have my car back so here`s hoping everything works okay..it took me awhile to get used to it again!!lol
As Deb said we are in for some much cooler days and hopefully some rain..Oscar`s yearly checkup was today,2 needles, a good going over and a yearly supply of worm tablets saw me $250 lighter..gee Vets are expensive..
A big wave to those on extended leave...

Good evening Stringsters
Guess what we had for dinner LOL
Glad Oscar's checkup was incident free Nica (apart from your emply wallet) and you have your car back.
We got our main car back today after several week's wait for an imported part. Up to now the instructions from the mechanic were "Don't drive for over 10 minutes" so it has been a bit frustrating.
My car's turn on Thursday.
I hope everyone had a good day

Hi Nic did they find anything wrong with the car after all that???
I saw your pic of the house on your mum's block, they sure filled up the block of land with tha big modern concrete thing didn't they?? ![]()
Prim I cheated today and just bought a roast chicken from Woolies to have with a salad. I dont feel like slaving over a hot stove after I've been out

some module connected to the steering was what they thought was faulty so they replaced the whole steering thingo & that had to come from Sweden...hence the wait..yep that house just about takes up the whole block..many of the original houses in the street have been bulldozed too and have been replaced with these large concrete boxes...that have no character..imo Deb:-(
