Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

I am glad tomorrow is Friday................I have seen the best and worst of people this week.

We are looking for a new car this weekend................I bet it will take a few weeks to stop looking for the old one in the super market car park.

I do not  have a favourite word..............but I do have a favourite number though.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringsters

Flashie, let's hope a bad event becomes happier with your new car.

Deb, did the chair get put together? We got one from OW but the padding did not stay springy very long so I bought a Gregory's chair which is much more suited to my old bones.

We still have no Foxtel. They still don't know why but will send someone tomorrow. Anyone want to take book on them showing up?

I have started watching the Rake series I was given for Christmas. I am undecided as to whether I am enjoying it....the dialogue is clever but I am not fussed much about any storyline concerning cannibalism. Yuk!

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi Prim

yes, the chair is put together and in use, She's happy with it.

that really annoys me with Foxtel, how long it takes for them to send someone out. Last time we had an outage we complained that we were still paying for the service that we weren't getting., so they deducted the lost days from our bill. You should do that too.

I have some of The Rake series recorded on the IQ but I haven't had time tro watch tem yet  & I think I started recording it mid season, so I hope I can make sense of it.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Happy to send you the first series when I am finished with them Deb. I have only watched two but I do think the first episode 'set the scene' to explain his persona.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringers 🙂

I started watching rake a few weeks ago, at first it was a little confronting but now I like it. It has depth. My favourite abc dramas are the one set in Botswana...something like number one ladies detective agency. It's fabulous. I also like the one set in Jamaica with the stereotyped pommy cop.

My new iPod arrived yesterday. It's purple and so cute! However, I was silly to expect to be able to charge and use it...the instructions say I have to update iTunes, synch, all this other stuff. So I put it back in the fancy box until I have the time.

Thank you for that offer Prim

Karen, new fangled gadgets always take a lot of fiddly setting up IMO

Re: Round Table Revisited

Well we did a bit of car shopping this morning..........and hubby found one similar to "Nancy"...(the old car).......but there was no one in the office.

So we rang the number on the window........and the guy said can you please come back in10days.........I can not transact any business for another 10 days.

Hmmmmmm.................no......I think we might go elsewhere......Cat Surprised

I found this picture this morning.................absolutely gorgeous.

It was taken by James Collier.....15-1-2014 in Geelong.
