Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

I enjoy daylight savings but I think it's dragging on too long.

My kids and I have been getting up in the dark for a few weeks now.

It was bloody depressing yesterday - **bleep** down with rain, still dark and we were up and out of the house.

Re: Round Table Revisited

I agree with that Buzz.  When we had another trial in WA I enjoyed it at first but hated that it ended so late.  It should have ended at the end of summer, not the middle of autumn.

Re: Round Table Revisited

I thought daylight savings was because it was light so late at night during summer?

I can remember it being sunset around 9pm

I'm hoping the phone and Internet places automatically change the time on my gizmos. Oh no! I just remembered I now wear a watch so ill have to change it manually...I bet I wreck it.

Re: Round Table Revisited

It is alovely Autumn day here again.

It was clean up day............and we had to take a load of rubbish to the tip.

The trailer wont fit on our car yet.................so we had to borrow our daughter new car.

As usual.............her can had no petrol in it...........the light was flashing.

So we took the stuff to the tip and decided to put a few dollars petrol in it on the way home.

We pull into the service station .............and do you think we could find the release button for the petrol cap.

We looked everywhere...................and then some.

Tried ringing our daughter............and she was not answering her phone.

We just had to drive home with our fingers crossed that we got there................because I was not goingtopush it with a trailer half full of soil behind it.

We made it home................and back to the servo to put some petrol in it after we finally found the button...................which was under the drivers seat................it must have been one of the only places we did not look........................Cat LOL

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi everyone.  Flashie, mine is under the drivers seat too.

I am contemplating getting out in the garden and trying to rip up the couch grass that is taking over a garden bed.  I want to spray it but Baloo keeps eating it so I'm worried about doing that.

Then again, I think I am too lazy today.

Re: Round Table Revisited

I have heaps of pumpkins, they're spreading all over the back lawn. This morning I stubbed my toe on one...they're good at hiding! Some are round, I thought they might be paddy melons but I think they're nugget pumpkins. The others are huge toe stubbing Queensland blues. In a few weeks I will be hassling you for pumpkin recipes 🙂

Tonight we're having bangers and mash, because my son saw it on telly and asked for it...that should be within my skill set 😄 He said we need baked beans on it, too...but yuk.

Re: Round Table Revisited

That is a real boy dinner.  The boys love bangers and mash.  I'm doing that chicken leek and mushroom recipe.

I was just looking at a recipe for pumpkin, spinach and blue cheese Wellington Karen.  It looks beautiful.  I think I will have to try that one soon.
