Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Good morning Stringers ๐Ÿ™‚

No news, just busy and it's boring.

Re: Round Table Revisited

That's a nice neighbor doing that for you Flsshie

It's a rainy day here, which is great, it's been a very long time since a good rain has fallen at my place.

I was hoping to do some sewing this afternoon, but something's wrong with my machine & I've given up trying to work out what it is that's wrong. OH will fix it for me, he's very good with those sorts of things

Re: Round Table Revisited

Not much on today.  I went and got a hair cut and now I think I need a colour.  I'm having lunch with a couple of old high school friends next week and don't want to look too much of a mess.  I haven't seen them from a couple of years so it should be fun.

From the little bit of rain we had recently Deb, the garden is looking lovely and green.  I hope we get a bit more soon.  It makes such a difference and also with the dust from the earthworks down the road.  Some people have even had contractors come out and wash down their houses for free it has been so bad.  I suppose they are the squeaky wheels because no one has cleaned mine.

What was a beautiful little patch of Eden will soon become high density.  I knew it couldn't last forever.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Joono, it's been months since we've had rain here, other parts of Melbourne & Vic have had it, but not us, apart from the odd very light sprinkle. I might even have green grass again soon

Unfortunately, high density is becoming very hard to escape

Re: Round Table Revisited

Where I am in the street is still lovely and open but it's just that the city is getting closer and closer.  Financially it could be good for us as we have a pretty good block size, but I prefer the serenity.  When we moved here there was hardly any traffic.  Now it is quite a busy road.

Hi Stringers ๐Ÿ™‚

That's a bit sad about all the building around your street, Joono. Cities are like monsters, creeping, creeping, creeping out and munching up all the natural environment.

I'm not a big fan of cities.
