Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Morning everyone.  Ripper thunderstorm here this morning!  I was just giving Baloo his breakfast outside and there was the brightest crack of lightning and overhead thunder at the same time.  It gave both of us a bit of a fright.  That is not the time you want to be holding a metal dogs bowl.

Your daughter has been off the road for a while Flashie.  Is it a year in April or was it longer?  She might be a bit nervous to get behind the wheel again.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Joono............it was 6 months the first time..............and then 2 years for the second lot of fits.

But because the second lot were because her medication was not strong enough they said she could drive again after 12 months if her doctor clears her.

She will also be able to work morning shifts again..............at the moment she is not allowed to shower any residents just in case.

I love thunder storms...........(not holding metal bowls though)

The best one we had here were 8 years ago........(I remember because it was when our grandson was born)

It went on for two nights............every lightening strike lit up the mountain.............it was gorgeous.

Morning Stringers Smiley Happy

WOW that rolling thunder this morning was amazing.  At first I thought it was some distant traffic noise lol

Wrong!  The strange thing was LL did not seem concerned about it ..... maybe her recent turns have impacted on her more than we thought.

It caught the Bureau unawares too.  They said it was particularly loud because of the 'low level inversion' - whatever that means lol

We sat out on the back terrace having our coffee and watching the storm pass overhead.  A true sound and light show and I hear it rolling back in now ....

Bye for now - catch up later lol

Re: Round Table Revisited

In our house I would be very scared if one of the men offered to cook tea............their expertise lays in consuming food .......not cooking it.

The closest any of them get to cooking is fish and chips on a Saturday night.

But hubby always makes me breakfast in bed on Saturdays to  make up for his lack of cooking skills.

Re: Round Table Revisited

I'm doing Tandoori chicken drumsticks tonight.  One of these days I'm going to try making saffron rice properly but usually i just add some strands to the boiling water and hope it adds some colour.

My boys are like yours Flashie and fortunately they will eat anything even if I make something that doesn't really work out.

We had to take our car to the auto electrician this morning............the stupid thing only starts when it feels like it...............and I am sick of pushing it......hubby just put his bike in the back and rode home.

Hopefully it wont be off the road long..................two families rely on our car.

In April our daughter will be allowed to drive again............takes the pressure off us a little.

did you buy an astra too?

Signatures suck.
