Joono I buy things and hide them I forget about them. A couple of years ago I found of horde of toys that I'd bought for the kids years ago, but they had outgrown them, so they went under the tree at the shopping centre

At least they were put to good use Deb.  I did once find some old plastic soldiers tucked away in the car boot once. At least I only picked them up for a couple of dollars at the cheap plastic junk shop.

Here is my wall hanging decorated with wine glass charms.

We took our daughter with us on our walk tonight.

As she was getting in the car her youngest daughter said to her...................Mum .....where are you going?

Mum says.............for a walk with Nanny and Poppy..

Grand daughter says.............why Mum.

Mum says.................because I can.

So we go for our walk............and take our daughter back home.

Her daughter came out and asked......................Where is my cheese and ham?

Gawd I laughed......................how on earth did she hear "cheese and ham" from "because I can?"

She was most dissapointed her mother came home with nothing for her.

They are so funny at that age.  Take it all in because these are the best years of your life. I'm thinking just a couple more years and I might be a grandmother.

My youngest and his girlfriend are leaving tomorrow for their holiday in Queensland.  They are so excited.

Good morning Stringsters,

Joono, the hanging is, dare I say it, charming. 🙂

I love traditions and to have that, with mementos attached, to put up each Christmas is such a lovely idea. I wish I had thought of it many years ago. 

We bought a refridgerator last night. We had to make a big decision, buy the fridge we wanted or one that would fit. We bought the fridge we wanted and now we are about to remove some overhead cupboards so we can fit it in its space. This will be interesting.

I don't feel very Christmassy but the advent calendar is certainly giving me a shove along to start to enjoy this special time of year, so thanks again Laney. Don't work too hard today.

Laney..............I have been looking at your event calander every morning...........and think it is beautiful.

Today I showed it to the grand children and let them have a bit of a look.

And they found...................games........(click on the stuff on the coffee table)

You can decorate........... the tree..............(click on the tree)

Santa comes down the chimney...........(click on the fire)

You can read the books..............(click on the ones in the bookcase)

The presents open.............(click on them)

I sure am glad....(and embarrassed) that the grandchildren found them.

They are coming back here after school to play some of the games and decorate the tree again.

Morning everyone.

I saved my Christmas bauble 😄

Cupboards are unscrewed from the wall the old fridge moved and plugged in elsewhere. They are supposed to be delivering between 2 and 4pm, so around 1pm I will put our fridge contents into Coolers and when they knock on the door I will put the frozen goods into another Cooler so it is empty as they are taking the old fridge away with them. 

I will miss my old Westinghouse, I have had it for 38 years and it is still running smoothly as if it were a week old. But the shelving was getting brittle and the seals needed replacing, so it was time for a newbie. I was determined to get another Westinghouse but the star rating was poor and the inside compartment setup was nothing to write home about. OH wanted something else so we got that.

I hope I never need to reach anything at the back of the freezer because I will never reach it LOL

Flashie, when your grandies come this afternoon can you please ask them why they think the people are in a slowly moving line at the back of the calendar? I can't read what is above the door where they are lining up and it must mean something because they move forward every now and then.
