I always have trouble buying for the boys. It is quite boring now. Just clothes and cologne type stuff.
Now I am in serious trouble. I just went to walk through the garage to get to the outdoor bin and when I opened the door this HUUUGE huntsman spider ran off my front bumper and under my car. This thing is a monster about the size of a saucer!
I'm supposed to be going out in half an hour. Sprayed lot's of spider spray (sorry buddah) but I couldn't find him. *Sobs*

Catch a cab...............................no way would I get in the car until the KingKong of the spider world is found and dealt with.
Knowing my luck I would find him when I was at the lights or somewhere stupid.............and I would have to get out of the car and abandon the vehicle.

I'm still here ![]()

I am presuming the spider is still unfound.
I am waiting for the plumber to ring me back about one of the houses I look after...............I think he must have gone to his Christmas Party and forgotten about me.
Actually something like that happened to us a few years ago............we took a trailer load of stuff to the tip on Christmas Eve and could not get in because the guys had a BBQ lunch and no one was in any condition to do the afternoons work.............so we had to go to another tip.

No wonder I feel so hot. It's 58% humidity and tomorrows temp is 39c.
Spidey is deceased. Son having seen it suggests I buy a bug bomb for the garage. I think I already sprayed enough chemicals in there today but I will do that.
Prim, how did you go with the spider spray? No problems I hope?

Good morning Stringsters
Joono, Glad you got that spider. We have not sprayed yet. Every time we tried it was either windy, raining or about to rain and now I am home on holiday, the opportunities are less. I guess we will just be on spider alert until after Christmas, hopefully we can go away for a couple of days and do before we leave.
There is a freezing wind blowing this morning. I wonder where the cold is coming from as the sun is shining and I am not aware there is rain or anything around.
We put up our house decorations yesterday and bought the tree. It is so pretty and a lovely shape and smells divine, though it is slightly taller than I wanted. Decorating it happens tonight.
I have some friends coming for lunch tomorrow. It started as just a morning tea with a friend, but as others got in touch with me and I asked them to come too, it grew to bigger than Ben Hur and now it is lunch.
When I changed the time from morning to lunch, one of my work friends, who has said many times that one day she wanted to make Chilli Crab for me as that was her speciality, said she would like to make it for us tomorrow. Of course, I said 'yes' LOL.
Then the others said they want to make something special too, so now we are having a real celebration of friendship, accompanied by food.
Invitation: If anyone here wants to hop on an aeroplane and get to Sydney, you are all invited. No need to bring anything. I will raise my glass and toast you all tomorrow because of the very personal friendship you have shown me over the last 18 months.
I am doing a little cooking of my own today so I had best get at it. Have a great day everyone.
Oh, and still no Foxtel, and no promised return call from Fox or Telstra
