So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

I know..............I had to find a paper clip for the belt as he had to clip a few more holes up this year.

Last one I promise................this is my hubby as Santa this year......................considerably thinner than last year.

We have had a few younger families move into nearby streets and they have gone all out with their lights. It sure makes the place cheerier. Three of our five house cul de sac have Charistmas lights. They are not exactly viewable from outer space but they are festive.

The weather is perfect here at the moment. What a pity we are about to get rain for a few days. 

It is a shopping day for me and I have my fingers crossed I can get it all done today so I don't have to go back tomorrow.

I'll catching up with some neighbours this morning for a coffee at a local cafe, then I really should go and get my chicken lol

well our coffee meeting has been called off as our favourite cafe is already closed for Christmas, so we'll have our next meet up in the New year instead
