Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Prim - glad you managed to get in - was getting a little concerned.  Hope OH is going to do the spraying before you head off.

Good afternoon Deb, Flashie and j*oono

j*oono - good news about that inspection - at least they are going to do something ..... you got to them just in time by the sounds of it.

I would not be going anywhere in this heat j*oono - let them eat cake.  Just checked the temp out on the back terrace - 46 in the shade!

Thank the lord for aircon and the tennis - that is about my limit today

Re: Round Table Revisited

It was 44 degrees when I was coming back from the shops Laney. It is scorching outside.

Today was supposed to be the day that I go back to my gym routine but I think I will have to delay it by a day or two. Tomorrow will be hot but then we will have some slightly cooler days.

I am please about the inspection. Just a shame that they won't repaint it all too 😄

Re: Round Table Revisited

Wow ! You have got it hot. It's too hot for gym or housework today Joono, did he say what caused that crack? Was it ground movement or what?

Re: Round Table Revisited

It was all gobbledy **bleep** to me Deb.  Something to do with steel on brick and heat cracking.  It's like talking to a mechanic.

Re: Round Table Revisited

I don't know Deb. It's on a concrete slab.

He did show me the measure thing that they use to assess. A structural crack is 5mm wide and the worst here are about 2mm.

Re: Round Table Revisited

That's good news it's not structural Joono, so when it gets fixed, the cracks shouldn't come back

Re: Round Table Revisited

Just a quick drop in because I know Laney will be watching TENNIS.

One thing i'm happy about

I'm not Sam's coach Woman Surprised

I can't for the life of me work out why she chokes, she has the game, the stregth, the experience but she just can't manage to execute and complete the job ahead of her. I've actually got to the stage I can't bare to watch her play. Woman Indifferent

Re: Round Table Revisited

morning all

A couple of the girls here would be watching the tennis as you know Freddie

it's a shame the 'choking',  Mark Phillopoussis used to do that too, and I found it very frustrating to watch.

They really need another Pat Rafter to come along for me to start watching the tennis again  Smiley Very Happy

Re: Round Table Revisited

Morning everyone.

I'm afraid I'm not really into sports now at all but once you start watching a good game of tennis it can be very exciting.

What I am so OVER is that T20 big bash thing that's on every night. That is not the kind of reality tv I want.  Give me MasterChef or Biggest Loser and I'll be happy 😄

A little something that I couldn't help thinking of this morning LOL
