it's afternoon here now. I did hear that 2 Aussies won last night, the two K's can't spell their names 

you sound busy. and I'd better get myself busy again too, just about to head out the door again

They do indeed Laney! He's doing a great job too and should be finished sooner than I expected. For the major cracks he has drilled holes in the walls so that he can "pin" them to stop any further movement and then once plastered it shouldn't happen again.  I'll post a photo I just took once he's finished.

All done!  I won't bother with the photo because it turned out so dark but he cut out to the brick I think and then put pins in and fixed it all up so I'm happy. He fixed about ten areas in the house but not all needed pinning so he really did a professional job.

Who's good with a paint brush? 😄

ME!!!!..................but I can not reach that far.

Our grandson had hsi new remote control car with him today.............it is only a small one..............but he had a ball with it.................well until his Uncle got up that is.

Now we had driven it safely everywhere this morning...........on our second set of batteries.

We had even taken it on our walk this morning with no disasters.

Our grandson wanted a couple of biscuits and a drink when we got back............so I went to get them for him.

His Uncle comes out in the loungeroom and spots the remote control car sitting on the hall stand.

He asks our gandson where did he get it from............andhe got it from a dear old Aunt in his Dads family.

Then it went down hill from there.

I should have known disaster was near when I heard our grandson son say..........."Do you want me to drive it off the hallstand?"

Our son says............."Let me do it.................come on!"

So he did................................and our grandson missed catching it.........................and it crashed.........

Then the conversation goes somthing like...........

Son.........Oh oh...............I think we broke it.

Grandson.............No you broke it................you drove it.

Son.............You should have caught it.

Grandson.............I'm telling Nan

Son..............It was your idea.

Grandson...........I'm eight..............who listens to an eight year old...............

Meanwhile I am looking for the glue in the pantry...........................the car is now minus a spoiler but still goes.

Well.........what is on everyone else menu for tea tonight.

I had a ham steak and pineapple...............gee it tasted good...........been a while since I had one.

I decided to borrow our daughters bike............I have not ridden one in over 30 years..............stay tuned.......

Good evening everyone. 

Flashie, that grandson of yours cracks me up. But, if you asked me I would probably say 'stay off the bike', unless you are wrapped in a very thick mattress.

We had braised steak abd vegies for dinner. It is coolish here so we raided the freezer. 

I am hurrying to get my orders packed so I can watch the tennis with a free conscience.

I'm only cooking for one tonight so I grabbed a couple of lamb chops out of the freezer for my son.  I'm going to have that new "Baked to Perfection" frozen lemon and chive cod fillets.  It is really nice for frozen fish and you can just zap it in the microwave.

With that I'm going to have steamed brown rice and quinoa, also fresh out of the nuker and brussel sprouts.
