Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringsters

We watched the football. I did swear I would never watch again after the second World Cup where again we were clearly targetted by referees who were either incompetent or bribed and I thought 'what's the point'. but over the last several years I got rehooked as it has become a lot more exciting to watch .....and now I am hooked. More football today and then the tennis tonight so it will be another sporty day.

Brunch about to be prepared.

Have a good day everyone.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Morning Stringers

Nothing of any import to report except the fires, particularly in the South West, which are burning out of control.

Those poor fireys and regulars would be absolutely exhausted, not to mention the property owners trying to protect themselves, their homes, property and livestock.  In the main, lightning strikes are thought to have been the primary cause of them and I guess that is something to be thankful about (rather than fire bugs).  Of course it does not make the job of controlling them any easier ....

More thunderstorms predicted for the next four days .... and high tempsSmiley Sad

Glad you enjoyed the match Prim - enjoy your sporty day

Catch up later folks

Re: Round Table Revisited

Morning everyone.  I was a bit torn about brunch today.  Torn between the Sunday fry up or the left over fried rice from last night. So I had both 😄

Can't move.

Laney, a bit of rain is forecast over the next couple of days so I hope that helps.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hope you do get some rain.

We've had a pretty lazy day here, it's that sort of weather, was waiting for some sunny weather to do the washing but I gave up and it's now drying in front of the heater

Laney, I think we will all get some rain tonight. Look at the radar! I hope it also goes where it's needed.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringsters

Glad  you are getting some rain in the west. I hope it puts out the fires.

Hope you get a bit of sun today Deb, drying washing in front of a heater is difficult to say the least.

I gave up on the tennis, it wasn't a pleasure to watch so I chose sleep instead.

Off to work for me today.

Have a great day everyone.

If it's true that Peter Greste has been released, that is indeed great news but feel sorry for his workmates who are still apparently stuck there.

Prim, I think summer is coming back here towards the end of the week. Hope so anyway
