Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

I will write that review Joono but I hope it doesn't make it so crowded that I can't get a table in future LOL

I will give you the recipe....you will be surprised at how easy it is 🙂

I hope the rain comes and the smoke eases for you all.

Good night

Re: Round Table Revisited

Wow Prim - I never realised what was behind Tara and Kings - all those times I had to drive along Pennant Hills Road!

The best kept secret in the west by the looks of it Smiley Surprised

Glad you had an enjoyable lunch and a good catch up.  Some time to stop and soak up the serenity in your busy life is just what you need ..... take OH there soon!

Your menu puts me to shame tonight - pizza (albeit home made) and the Fed Cup - just the ticket for us tonight.

The smoke yesterday, even in Freo was incredible j*oono.  Those dastardly easterlies Smiley Wink

Once the westerlies came in it was like a curtain lifting from the whole city.

Dreadful for anyone suffering from respiratory illnesses as well. Seems to be a little respite with the fires though - Northcliffe is safe, Windy Harbour still a problem and this afternoon around Hammond Park the fires flared up again.  Tomorrow is going to be pretty awful too with 40 predicted.

Will look forward to seeing what colour you choose for the painting j*oono - fantastic to have a blank canvas to display all your lovely treasuresfor the time being at least.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringsters

Laney around 8 years ago someone told me about that place and I have often thought about going there, but never did. I nearly didn't get there yesterday. Friend was the driver and left her GPS at home. We drove around the area for about half an hour but could not find our way there (though I did see parts of Sydney I have never seen before LOL).  We decided to cut our losses and head back to Parramatta Park and have lunch in a coffee shop by the water in there and as we got to one street before the main road, I spotted a sign to the lake. I might never have got there and never known how lovely it was.

We watched the first match of the fed cup and are going to watch Sam's match after breakfast. Avoiding the news until we watch will be a challenge 🙂

Joono, White is pretty tricky to pick and the swatches are small but I hope it is not too difficult to choose.

Have a nice day everyone.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Morning everyone.  It's a stinker today.  40 and humid with the chance of a thunderstorm later.  Lucky last night was reticulation night so everything has had a drink.

Evening Stringers

Hope you managed to avoid the news this morning Prim Smiley Sad  There appears to be great camaraderie between both teams though so whatever the results it is good to see.

Didn't feel as bad today as expected j*oono.  Headed out in the opposite direction today though as the Freo Laneway Festival was on and it would have been too crowded for words.  We were planning on going up to Riverside Woodbridge but it is closed on Sundays Smiley Mad  We ended up having high tea Maddison Cottage - not on the river but still enjoyable

Don't feel like dinner now ..... wonder why lol

Hope you all had a good day

Re: Round Table Revisited

It sounds like you did have a good day Laney. Mine was pretty ordinary. Apart from spending heaps of time on here I decided to torture myself in this heat by tackling the ironing and vacuuming the house because Baloo is having a major moult again.

I rarely iron now but the shirts in the basket have been topping up. They are the only things I iron now.

No cooking though.  Younger son had some friends around for a swim and we got fish and chips for a change. That was nice.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringsters

Laney, I stopped watching Sam after the first set and again vowed I would never watch her matches in the future.  Now, I have made that vow before LOL but the angst she causes me sure stirs my mettle!

Fish and chips sounds good Joono, especially if it gave you a break from cooking on such a hot day.

Off to work for me. Have a good day everyone.
