Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

That's OK. I never really heard much before about their early history and how Rose came to be there. I just found it to be pretty interesting

Re: Round Table Revisited

It's become a case of if you can't beat them join them Flashie.

Laney, did you get in to Perth to see the giants?  What a magical display.  I'm so glad that the people of Perth appreciated it.

Evening Stringers Smiley Happy

What a week!  Just catching up on a few things - feel like I have been gone for weeks.

j*oono I have been there most of the week - got dragged in to give some 'back office' assistance with festival stuff.

Saw them arrive and then saw them leave this afternoon from Freo.  Incredible, unbelievable and amazing.  You almost forgot they were puppets - their movements and expression were just .... words fail me.

Soooooo tired - it is going to take me a week to catch up and it is a busy one ahead but on a different project.

Too tired to read around much - does not look like it is worth doing ..... from Flashie's comment anyway lol

Sitting chilling out with a coffee now

Re: Round Table Revisited

That's what I was thinking Laney with the puppets.  It almost made me cry seeing the diver blinking at seeing his daughter.  How weird! So gorgeous.  I didn't go into town but I feel like I should have.

Artistry at it's best.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Amazing - a suspension of belief.  How can such obvious puppets have such an impact - how can they be imbued with human characteristics like they were ..... as I said words really do fail me

SO many people everywhere but they were all in festival mood and everything went pretty much like clockwork .... more than 1.4 mil people (minus you - what a shame)more than half the total population of WA!

A once in a lifetime experience

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringsters

Flashie, I could not agree with you more.

Laney, we saw a little of the puppets on TV but I did wish I was there, they looked amazing. Half the population of WA....that is amazing too.

Off to work for me. Have a good day everyone.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Morning everyone

There are a few Around atm Flashie, some of of them are just "fight threads"

It was a warm night here last night, one of those too hard to get to sleep ones but I,think we have cooler weather coming today.

Flashie when is the Darwin baby due?
