Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisitedt

Hi everyone.  I really enjoyed the movie Laney.  It's hard to compare it with the first one because the characters were the same but it was a different feeling if you know what I mean.  I shouldn't say this but I found some of it quite depressing but funny at the same time.

I really think Maggie Smith owned that movie.  She was very good.

I loved the wedding scenes!  I really love that Bollywood style dancing now and they did it so well.  My sisters loved it too but they both thought the first movie was better.  I thought this one was equally as good but in a different way which I can't explain.

Flashie, if you don't make that appointment it's only going to get worse.  It might be just a teensy weensy filling at this stage (says me who's got a problem with one of the molars on my chewing side darn it).

Re: Round Table Revisitedt

Understand what you are saying j*oono.

Will put comments in spoiler so Prim and others who might read here do not need to read them before they see the film.  Loved the Bollywood dancing and music too - amazing colour and movement.  I just think they could have done without all that 'jealousy' stuff lol

Spoiler
It was depressing to see that Bill's almost-ex-wife felt the need to fabricate a relationship as a boost to her self-esteem but uplifting to see others had the courage to take new and exciting paths even late in life.  Maggie's character was particularly poignant.

Re: Round Table Revisitedt

I agree with your spoiler Laney.  I also think that the new character (brothers best friend) was superfluous at the beginning of the movie but was ok further in.

I do love Dev Patel.  He played the role so well even though I wanted to slap him a couple of times.

Painters are starting this Saturday.  Yay!

Re: Round Table Revisitedt

Yes j*oono - the brother's best friend was really what I was referring to.

Dev Patel - vaccinated with a gramophone needle but delightful at the same time lol

Great news about the painters.  Fantastic that you got to the builders just in time before the warranty expired Smiley Happy

Wasn't it?  A couple of months out and I don't always have such good timing.

Have a good night Laney.  I have to get up early so another early one for me.  Nighty nite 🙂

Re: Round Table Revisitedt

Dentist............who is swearing at me..................Cat Embarassed

I was getting ready to do my paper work for tonight's meeting............leaving to the last minute as per usual...........and I was slightly distracted by the phone......(which rings constantly some days).....I was opening today's mail for work.

I get set up................all correspondence in one pile............bills in the other.................................well at least that was what I thought I had done.

One pile was just empty envelopes.................Cat LOL...............I had thrown all the bills in the bin.............and kept all the envelopes.............................(well I guess that shows you what I think about filing.....Cat Tongue)

So I go out to the rubbish bin..................and hubby had emptied it..........and just flung the rubbish bag on the back of the trailer.

So I had to hook it back out and go through it to get it.

I knew there was a very good reason I hate paperwork..........Cat LOL
