Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Morning everyone.  I'm glad they have the murderer.  I haven't read much about it yet but it seems they knew exactly who to look for.

As for smoking, next Friday it will be exactly 3 years since I last had a cigarette.  All I can say is don't quit quitting. It's hard at times but gets so much easier the more time passes.

Think of how disappointed your family will be if you go back to it.  Know that the depression will not last for ever.

At the beginning it is quite easy and you wonder why you didn't do it before but as time goes on you get some real rough patches.  Three months was difficult, 7 months was too.  It took me at least a year before I didn't feel like a smoker that didn't smoke.  Now I feel like a non smoker.

Re: Round Table Revisited

The man from Megasealed did a fantastic job.  What was even better was that he looked and sounded like Colin Firth ๐Ÿ˜„

It's like having a whole new bathroom.  Seriously, I hope this problem has been fixed.  He had some things to say about the original job and he said that the moisture in the wall would most likely take about a year to dry out.

Tomorrow, my bedroom and bathroom should be painted.  I wish we had got the megasealed person to do my bathroom too.

moisture behind the tiles Joono? How do they fix it? It reminds me a bit of the problems Freddie had with her shower

Re: Round Table Revisited

Morning Deb.  He removed all of the original grouting with a grinder thing and then I think they inject the membrane repair (don't know how that works) and then regrout and reseal the whole thing.  It looks like new.

I do seem to be following Freddies path.  The painters are here now and I'm hoping they get as far as my bedroom and bathroom.  I've been looking forward to that.

Re: Round Table Revisited

They've finished for today Deb and that will be it for another couple of weeks unfortunately as one of them has his mum arriving for a holiday.  Fortunate for him I should say.

I don't mind though.  So far we have 3/4 of the house done.  Shame that mine will have to wait for a bit longer as I was looking forward to that with my new linen and everything.

You are brave.  I wouldn't even get in the car with my boys until they had been driving for about two years ๐Ÿ˜„

๐Ÿ˜€ I'm not silly , I got OH to do all the ground work. I'm surprised at how quickly she's picked it up, I thought it would take her longer.
