Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

I wonder what Laney is up to Joono? She does get pretty busy at times

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringsters.

I don't know why Laney hasn't posted lately but I do know that her life has become an extremely busy one workwise. Sometimes I only get a few moments to post in any given day. In a time where I should have more free time than ever, I have never been busier.

Is all the painting finished Joono? Is Baloo still black?

Have a good day everyone.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Morning everyone.  I'm in a rush myself today as I've got a hair appointment.  Earlier time than I wanted to but I cancelled last week because I had to pick whatsit up after his dental op.

The house is 2/3rds done Prim but they are taking a break for a few weeks as one of them has his mum arriving from England (I think).

Baloo is mostly still black but he's trying to disguise himself as a white tail spider.

Gotta rush!

Re: Round Table Revisited

Is today Wednesday................feels like it.

Not sure how I kudoed that post..............never mind.

Remember how I told you all how my brother was worried that my hubby might hurt himself doing that retaining wall for his brother...................................well..................MY brother who was worried fell off his ladder and now has a back brace on for 3 months.

At the time we were discussing my brother helping hubby his wife said no.............because he was accident prone................seems she was right.

Now that I know he is OK I  had a little giggle.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Oh no Flashie😨

I also have a very accident prone BIL and whenever he offers to help with anything around here, I try to politely decline, lol

Nothing worse than a flat battery when you need to be somewhere .joono, hope you've got some jumper leads handy

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringsters. I love....love...love that photo Joono LOL... and grrrrr to the flat battery

Flashie, that was a terrible mishap. The only positive is the timing. Wearing a backbrace in autumn is better than summer.

The house behind us is being demolished. Apart from the noise, we had a scare last week when the fellows on the roof were dressed for asbestos removal and the wind was blowing into our yard and open windows. We freaked and contacted the council who assured us it was a special type of asbestos sheeting which contained the fibres and we have nothing to worry about. I hope they are right but we are keeping the windows closed just in case. I think we are about to have a few months of building noise.... I hope they build quietly 🙂

Have a good day everyone.

Prim, there is so much development going on around here that it's not funny.

I hope your council were right about the asbestos too Woman Surprised

Re: Round Table Revisited

Morning everyone.  Prim, if there was no danger from the asbestos then why were the workers dressed for it?

There will be lots of construction in my street soon but at this stage they are still doing all the site work for the new "estates".  It makes for very dirty and dusty breezes blowing into my house.

Car is all fixed.  My lubbly son came home from work for a while and got me a new battery and put it in.  I still missed my appointment but I've remade it for next Tuesday as my favourite hairdresser only works there Tuesdays and Thursday afternoons.  My grey streak is more like a dual highway now.
