So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

What a lovely evening Nics.  I'm sure you had a great time with your family too.  Does Oscar travel with you when you go to Yea?

I had lunch at my sisters today and they have three dogs and they also had three doggie visitors!  Not Baloo, that would have been a riot.

It was suppose to rain here today...........we had a few spots and that was about it.

We picnicked at the Botanical Gardens........took way too much food.......the kids hardly ate anything .........too full on Easter chocolate.

We took the doughnuts and tied them in a tree and tried to bite them............apparently I cheated and used my hands............I protested.................but no one listened.

Then we took the doughnuts up the hill..............and rolled them down...............and somehow that turned into a doughnut fight...................our middle grandson accidentally hit an older lady with a piece of doughnut.................he was mortified................she was not particularly pleased about it.

Our youngest daughter had a night out on the town with her friends last night.............and apparently did not get home until early this morning.............so after lunch she decided to lay on the picnic blanket and have a snooze.

All the doughnut throwing attracted four ducks.

Now our daughter has always been scared of ducks.............she was chased by some when she was younger and has never forgiven them.

So we got all the doughnuts and lined up the food in a line to right next to her on the picnic blanket..............and then sat back to watch the show.........................

But our youngest grandson loves his Aunty...........and decided to warn her by yelling out...............my plan was foiled..........(well I thought it was a good one)

She has never moved so fast......grabbed a doughtnut and chased me..................and pelted me with it.

We had to satisfy ourselves with a beautiful sunset rather than the blood moon.

Photos not great but then I am not a great photographer lol

Laney, I tried to take some photos of the sunset last night but for some reason my camera (phone) won't pick up the colour.

The sky was almost scarlet red at one stage and yet when I took the photos it hardly even looked pink.
