We are having a bit of a wintery blast aren't we Flashie, at least here the sun came out for a bit this afternoon.

It sounds like the birthday party went well yesterday, hope you get a chance to put your feet up

The smell doesn't seem to hang around for too long Flashie.  Either that or you just get used to it and you don't notice it.

The smell of the gloss enamel paints make me feel a bit nauseous though.  When my bedroom is painted I will spend a few nights sleeping on the settee. 

The ex is home tomorrow so I'll let him nag the painters to come back again and finish the job.

j*oono - I wasn't training but the results yesterday demonstrated that my lack of training did not hold them back lol.  Wish they had not taken their foot off the accelerator in the last half though.  Was holding my breath for Nics and for your folks Deb - looks like they got the results they were hoping for.

Nics, one door closes, another opens.  Just enjoy the experiences on the way

Gee j*oono, I thought your painting would be finished by now.  Bet you are frustrated at having to hassle them to come back and complete the job.

The Geelong match was a nail biter ..... wonder if Nics has any nails left lol

Morning everyone.  Such a quiet morning.  I've got one son home sick today.  We have this horrible cold thing going around which really feels more like hay fever than a cold.  I've had it for a while and I'm so over it.  Maybe it is hayfever with all the dust flying around.

Soon they will be doing a massive excavation right outside my garden on the verge.  Can't wait.  Aaargh! I recently found out that the new estates just down the road are going to have broadband next.  How come we've been here about 18 years but we don't get the mains sewerage that they are working on now or broadband?

They are really throwing some money at this new estate with landscaping and everything.  We don't even have kerbed roads down this end 😄
