Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

We sure do Deb................12th June it starts...........can't wait.

I hope it is not as cold as it is today for..............I doubt they will get many participants in the nudie swim if it is.................it is still 4 degrees here.

I had my beanie....coat and gloves on for my walk this morning..............I had a bit of trouble with my head phones.................I could not decide if i should put them on under or over my beanie...........and then I could not get the hood up on my coat.............Cat LOL

I have to take our daughter and her cat Apollo to the vet this morning.............I have a funny feeling he is not coming back home......................he had a HUGE epileptic fit last night................the after hours vet said other that sedating him there was nothing they could do..............but to take him to his normal vet today................but to be prepared for bad news..................fits in an old cat is not good news.............Apollo is about 14 I think.

So I had some rather sad grandchildren for breakfast this morning................they had said their goodbyes to him just in case he wont be coming come.

Re: Round Table Revisited

That's sad news Flashie.  Apollo is a great name for a cat.

That photo just looks cold cold cold but what a beautiful place.

Shopping won Deb and I was very please with my purchase.  I finally spent the Myer gift card from Christmas.  I bought a gorgeous fine wool and cashmere jumper at a bargain price.  It was $139 but in that brand it was 30% off if you spent over a $100 and then because I have an Esprit card I got an extra 10% off so it only cost $88.

I didn't need to put in any of my own cash.  Love it to death too.

No shopping today.  Except food shopping unfortunately.

Re: Round Table Revisited

The vet said Apollo is in remarkably good health for his age...................but................having had a seizure as bad as he had does indicate it most likely will be a brain tumour.............so we are just waiting to see what today's tests show.........and go from there.

The grandchildren are happy that for now he is home.

It is freezing still here............normally I don't feel the cold.............but I have since I lost weight..........not sure I am looking forward to winter with as much enthusiasm as I usually do.

Re: Round Table Revisited

You will have to eat salmon brains Flashie.  That's what bears do to put on their winter weight.

Poor Apollo.  I hope he is alright.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Flashie sorry to read about Apollo as long as he isn't in any pain just see what happens day by day..it's sad getting old even in the animal kingdom๐Ÿ˜ฆ. Today at Maya's childcare centre they had a mother and Nanny afternoon tea for Mother's Day. A lovely story about Mum's was read to everyone and then mum's and kids did the hokey pokey..lots of fun and giggles..splashed out this morning and bought myself a beautiful comforter set and a couple of feather pillows..never had those kind of pillows before..heard they are the best to sleep on..we will see....footy match tomorrow night and Geelong me thinks are going to get their butts kicked..oh well can only hope not!!

Re: Round Table Revisited

Morning everyone.  Go the Cats Nics!  I particularly want them to win tonight.  Collingwood are number two on the ladder and I don't want a climb by them.

We have lost Pavlich this week I think but at least it's a home game.

I sound like an expert.  I hardly even watch the games but my son is a Dockers fanatic so I can't really avoid it ๐Ÿ˜„
