Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Thanks Lloyds.  I'm still keeping an eye out for it so will keep that in mind.  Spotlight are ok but they are getting a little bit more like Red Dot than the place they used to be for craft items.  I'm just not sure that I can get it as fine as I would really like it but I'll keep trying.

Edit to say that Spotlight did have some on a card but it was only about a metre in length.  Not good enough and they wanted $8 for a card with different colours.

Flashie, that's realy annoying about the curtains. I can't buy ready mades as I need them to be long so I had to make all my own > I can't sew anything else, but curtains I can do

Re: Round Table Revisited

Morning everyone.  Are you enjoying MasterChef Flashie?  Funny, it's been on for a couple of weeks now and last night I saw two contestants that I have never noticed before.

At the beginning they always seem to concentrate and just a few contestants and they've done it again this year. A couple of them have already gone home so you can't say that they are their favourites.

I like the young girl that looks very much like a young Julia Roberts.  I think her name is Ashleigh.  The young guy that made the dessert that looked like an apple is brilliant too but a lot of people seem to think that he must have some previous experience, which is not allowed if it's professional experience.  I suppose they've checked that out but he is so good!

I wasn't sure I would like it this year after watching MKR but still, I think it's a better cooking show.

Not much on the cards today.  Just weekend food shopping is about all.  The ex is back for a few days and lamb roast rolls have been requested.

I haven't been watching Masterchef or MKR Joono, so I can't really comment on them

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning everyone.

It looks like we are finally going to get some decent rain.  I hope it's not too decent.  The radar looks a bit ominous and during the forecast weatherman said it could be up to 50mil.  That will top the pool up and water the lawn.  It's very dark looking outside and so quiet!  The calm before the storm.

Apart from that bulldozer that has beeping clanking and carrying on right across the road since it woke me at 7 this morning.

Afternoon Stringers Smiley Happy

Didn't get back the other day and the balance of the week just seemed to disappear in the sunshine lol

Loving this rain - shame about the Food Festival though j*oono and you don't seem cloistered at all.  The only reason I knew about it was from some foodie friends and no - we didn't go today - not the best weather for it.

I see your boarder has departed - Baloo and fishbait must be wondering where their friend Bowie has gone Smiley Sad

~~~~ lloydslights ~~~~ (that is a stringy wave lol)
No comparison between MC and MKR in my opinion.  Whilst there is obviously the 'personality factor' in MC is it not nearly as bad as MKR in that respect and I prefer the individual responsibility rather than the joint efforts.  Some great cooks coming through the ranks and like you j*oono I like the Julia Roberts look-alike.
Not much on the agenda for the weekend.  Waiting for the plumber to arrive to replace a tap over the kitchen sink which is spraying water everywhere and of course .....
Spoiler
watching/listening to the footy Smiley Embarassed
Re: Round Table Revisited
Same Laney.  I'm even finishing up my Dockers scarf so that I can wear it tomorrow.  OK, it's not really Dockers colours but it would look nice and purple if I was waving it in a crowd.
Re: Round Table Revisited
It is beautiful and purple enough to qualify j*oono
You really are talented and have such a great eye for colour
I have not knitted for yonks Smiley Sad
No valid reason, particularly in this weather - have just had other priorities.
Re: Round Table Revisited
It's perfect knitting weather.  Currently only 12 degrees and I'm not used to that.
