Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Flashie, I'm waiting for that one too. Does it start when Outlander finishes? Can you please remind me when it's getting close as I record things all over the place.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Morning.  No, nice and clear here today Deb.  We will get some more later in the week.  It's so nice that the garden had a good soaking.

I got a phone call from the painters yesterday to say they will be back to finish the house this weekend.  Yay! They've done all the ceilings walls and skirting in the rooms they have finished and I would sort of like them to do the doors as well but I think I will tackle that because it's pretty expensive to have them here for a weekend.  I can paint a door I suppose.

Re: Round Table Revisited

You must be pleased that's nearly finished Joono. I bet it looks good too... Doors are easy, you could do those. I hate to think how many doors I've painted over my life-time lol

Luckily in this house, most of the doors are unpainted and have this kind of "feathered" stain on them. I wouldn't want to be the first to paint them when they've been like that for about 113 years.

Re: Round Table Revisited

I want them in gloss enamel so I think all I need to do is give them a light sand.  I don't want to mess around with undercoat as they are already painted.

Not a job I will look forward to.  I like painting but the enamel fumes get to me a bit.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Yes, I agree Joono, a light sand or a wash with sugar soap and gloss paint is the best finish for doors. You can just take your own time to paint them one at a time

Re: Round Table Revisited

Joono...........enamel paints have come a long way............if you get a water based one the fumes are usually not too bad...................but you need to know if what you are painting over is water or iol based first.

I got an early minute today as we are going out for tea for my 1st MIL's birthday..............about 20 of us.

I bought her some dvds..............but I can't fond where I put them..............any ideas........Cat LOL

Re: Round Table Revisited

Under the bed? In a cupboard? Amazing the amount of gifts that you bought for someone else show up years later, lol

Re: Round Table Revisited

I do have a box of stuff under the bed.................I have forgotten where I put stuff now that we have repainted the bedroom.

I think there is only 1 or 2 episodes of Outlander to go...................and Banished does not start until mid June..............................there are only 7 episodes.
