So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Sleeping on the couch tonight.  The paint smell down that end of the house has given me a huge headache, plus my bed is still covered under a dropsheet so I can't get in it anyway 😄

Lucky I have a spare quilt in the linen cupboard.

Morning everyone.  I love sleeping on the couch Deb.  It's very cosy.  I'd do it every night but that would be odd. Watch a bit of tv, turn out the lights and zonk.  Wake nice and early almost within arms reach of the kettle.  What more can you want.

Painters arrived, 7:00am on the dot.

I do that in summer when it's too hot to sleep, so I know what you mean Joono. I hope they get it finished for you today

We have a king size bed................so no sleeping on the couch for me.............not enough room.

We are weeding our veggie garden today...............I say we..............but.........I am hoping if I muck around inside hubby will be finished doing it by the time get out there.....................

Joono..............has the painting made you want to change everything..............I did when we painted our bedroom.

I bought a new cover and curtains............and two new canvases for the walls.
