Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi Laney, it's finding something different for every night that's the problem.. After quite a few years cooking for a family.. You get a bit tired of it.. I know I have. Joono does like cooking and puts me to shame a bit though.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Yes exactly Deb - finding something different we would all enjoy got a little wearing.

Sunday nights at our Sunday table were fun - four different meals (of varying sizes/types) - Mum did not mind at all Smiley Happy

Enjoy your night chilling out Deb

Just saw Nic's beautiful lilies - a magnificent display Nic - glad to hear all going well for you

Re: Round Table Revisited

I don't mind cooking and I like trying new things that don't always work out but luckily I have a couple of gannets and they will eat anything so that makes it more fun.

If I had a family that would only eat meat and three veg or bangers and mash then I really wouldn't like it.

Wagyu beef burgers were yum, but I'm having a frozen Japanese teriyaki chicken courtesy of McCains.

Have a good night ladies!

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hey did anyone else see Venus in the West tonight?  So very bright and just below Venus was Jupiter (not so bright)

What a wonderful universe!

Oops - forgot to tell you we had Thai green chicken curry and rice, preceded by those divine 'money bags' - yummmmmmmmmo!

Re: Round Table Revisited

We are just watching the tennis - the different hair styles are funny

Raonic - never a hair out of place (looks like he has a helmet on) - right arm white sleeve?

Kyrgios - gone overboard with the cut and bleach decoration - left arm white sleeve for what reason (its not his serving arm)

Dustin Brown - dreadlocks right down his back (has not cut his hair for 18 years)

Come home Pat Rafter ......................... with your little white spot ...... we luvs ya!

Re: Round Table Revisited

Every night Laney.  We have been watching Venus and Jupiter for a few weeks now.  I had to google at first to see what was in the sky because I wasn't sure.  I don't think I have ever seen the planets looking so big.

I first noticed it early one evening when I went to take the rubbish out.  Walking back towards the house it was in my direct line of vision.

It was a full moon last night so I wonder if that made a difference too.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Glad you didn't miss it j*oono - I had not heard about it.

Hope it will be there tomorrow night too - want to see it before it disappears

I knew it was full moon - the whole house was lit up - didn't need to turn the lights on in the kitchen

Re: Round Table Revisited

I'm not surprised you hadn't heard.  I haven't heard anyone else talking about it.  You'd think it would be maybe even spoken about on a weather report or something.

Not watching the footy tonight.  I might watch a movie soon but I have to be up early tomorrow and get another car in for a service or at least pick my son up when he takes it in.  Because it's Saturday we have to be there at 8:00 because they shut early.  It's inconvenient on a week day because of work.
