Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

I've actually got roses to prune this year.  Last year they were too young and spindly and I didn't want to hurt them.

Trouble is I can never remember how to do it and which way to slant the cut.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Not sure if I'm doing the right thing, but I cut slanting to the outer above a bud, cos you want the stems to grow outwards

Re: Round Table Revisited

Wouldn't that make it grow from the inside instead?  I think I've got a roses no how site bookmarked somewhere.

Here you go.

Rose Knowledge Centre

It's got no pictures of how to do it though so that could be a problem ๐Ÿ˜„

Re: Round Table Revisited

That's great news Deb.  She had a lot of travelling to do before didn't she?

Something really nice happened to me today.

I was in Coles at the checkout and it was really busy and I had a couple of people in front of me so I had a bit of a wait.  Then a man and a lady came up behind me and they only had a couple of things.  Normally I would just let them jump in front but I didn't have that much and I had already been waiting a while so I thought I would just go through and I loaded up my stuff after the person in front of me.  Then I had a change of mind and decided to let them go ahead of me.

They were really appreciative and the man said that they were married on Saturday and since then everything has been going so right for them and all falling into place.  I just laughed and congratulated them both on their marriage.

They took off and while I was still at the checkout there was a tap on my shoulder and the lady gave me a bunch of flowers from the florist across from Coles in the mall for being nice to them!  I was so surprised and I still have a smile on my face because of them. See, there are still some lovely people in the world.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Are you still watching B and B Deb?  Geez, aren't they dragging out this transgender thing.  Everyone knows now except for Rick.  I guess it will be today but I've got to get to Curves.
