Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Morning everyone.  Just waiting for a new carpenter/handyman.  The last one that was supposed to fix the verandah finally gave us a quote but didn't show up for the job.  This one has already cancelled once so I hope he shows up today.

It's rather breezy outside so I don't feel like going anywhere anyway.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Is that your veranda roof he's fixing? I can't believe the way the builders left that

Re: Round Table Revisited

That's it Deb.  The builders say they will fix the roof but not the wooden beams as they were left by us too long. The trouble is the person they sent to fix the roof wouldn't get up there (don't blame him) until we had the wood replaced.

The ex got on to the carpentar that the builders recommended but he didn't show up so we've had to get someone else.

He's also replacing the shed door that dropped off from white ants three weeks after we had an inspection and were told we were termite free LOL

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning from the wonderful west Smiley Happy

Flashie I understand how you feel about getting your hair cut.  When I was publically representing the company/companies for whom I worked, presentation was a key element so haircuts were almost mandatory.  Now that I am older pony tails just don't suit me so the hairdresser regime ciontinues lol.  You have youth on your side to be able to get away with them!

Glad I got supplies in last night - had a very disturbed night with LL.  Didn't get much work done and I have decided to leave it until the weekend as it will still be here and it was a self-imposed deadline anyway.

Showers predicted for the next few days so going to get out into the garden whilst the weather is so good.

Looking forward to MC tonight ......

Catch up after - have a good day ladies

Re: Round Table Revisited

Our son-in-law is doing a photography course..................and it working with different filters and lights at the moment.

Yesterday he had been doing some shots of the grand children who had been using glow sticks.

Our daughter called into the Kmart to grab some track pants for the boys..............(always needed as they put holes in the knees regularly.)

She was busting to go to the loo by the time she got home..........so dashed straight into the loo.................and as usual in a house with four kids there was no loo paper.................(in her rush she had not checked............of course 499 sheets of a 500 role had been used.)

SO she called out for someone to grab her a roll.

Her youngest daughter brought in a roll.................our daughter noticed as she went back out of the bathroom that her daughter was glowing...............literally!!!!.............(from the glow sticks)

She glanced at the toilet roll she had just put on the holder................and it was glowing.

I had to ask her..................did she notice this before or after she used it.

AFTER.................Cat LOL..................oh dear.................Cat LOL

Re: Round Table Revisited

That's gorgeous Flashie!  I don't know how he did that but it's very impressive.

Did your granddaughter get the fluid all over her? Messy 😄

Laney, I did use the same company.  Have done for years but that year they sent round a different person to usual.  He was a very odd man and made me feel quite uncomfortable so I didn't want him back again and I told them so.
