He did Deb. He got the shed door and frame done but for the verandah beams he's taken the damaged ones down and needs to get some especially made. They are long curved beams because it's a bullnose. Hopefully next week he can replace them.

It's pretty sad isn't it that years ago a house was built to last for a hundred years and more but nowadays they last for maybe 10yrs before major problems set in.

No it wasn't. How crazy.
They really had to dig down and lay heaps of foundation sand to build our house because of clay soil and yet it resulted in all of the cracking. I think basically they didn't know what the hell they were doing but it was a regulation that they had to follow.

god, that really is crazy. How the hell were they given permission to do that.
See you tomorrow Deb. I will have nightmares about another door to paint. The shed door that was put on today 😄 I think I want to paint this in deck chair stripes because it's near the pool. That should be fun at least. I might need some masking tape to help me with the stripes.

morning all ![]()
Joono, you don't need masking tape unless you want straight stripes ![]()

Good morning! Maybe I can just go and buy some striped canvas from an upholsterer and pin it to the door 😄
We might get a bit of rain today which will be good. My new paper daisies are looking a bit sad. Rain all week though which is not so good.
