So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

I know what my problem was - only one coffee so far ...... have put kettle on to rectify the brain fade lol

We haven't even told them he's going lol.  He seriously won't have the opportunity this time Laney.  It's a shame they are only going for two weeks and they plan to see as much of the countryside as possible.

Travelling with other folks would make it more difficult too as they would all have their own priorities

That's true and seriously, it would be nice but when it comes down to it he doesn't even know them.  It would be different for me if I was back there.

Happy travels to your son and his girlfriend Joono.............our eldest son is off to USA with a few of his mates in a few weeks...............he is rather excited.............I am happy for him to go but I will be glad when he back home safely.

Laney............I am not sure why but I thought of you and LL when I took this picture...........this dog was having the time of it's life.................bounding away through the snow....................then it slid................ran some more..........jumped about............slid some more............all through the snow..................no one anywhere in sight..............just this dog enjoying life............I watched it for ages.
