Have either of you caught 'Restoration Australia' on the ABC?
Being lovers of old houses I think you would enjoy watching their restoration. The last one was about a home in Gippsland - the folks did the most amazing job even resorting to lathe and plaster instead of plasterboard. The old wallpapers they used were fantastic too. Worth a look even if only on iview ![]()

Whoa! Best take an umbrella when I head out then. I just put my doona cover in the wash so it looks like I'll be using the dryer today.

Yes, we watched it Laney... It's a great show. Didn't they do a fantastic job on that house? We've renovated 5 old houses so far, but have never been game enough to take on one quite so dilapidated as that. Looking forward to next week's show

Umbrellas are useless here in Freo - you see more of them blown out rather than providing shelter lol

You could see that the house they renovated in Gippsland had a really nice "feel" to it after it was done

I like my umbrella. I got it from Rave and it's bright sunny yellow. The long type, not a little kaleidoscope one. They are handy but pretty useless when it comes to a windy day.

Hehe I brought an umbrella recently and much to my dismay it had on it" do not open in wind" totally useless here, lol

And I loved the way they had it furnished too Laney
