Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Mine not so much ....... 4 new tyres and a wheel alighment really put a hole in this weeks spending lol

Gave up on the office phone - got a dose of the couldn't-be-bothereds and certainly could not be bothered dealing with more pushy salesman after the tyre episode arrrrrgh

I have to work tomorrow - have all the purple ribbons and decorations at the ready - huge match tomorrow night ..........

Our grandson is with us tonight..............his mother has gone out for tea with a few friends.

So we are cooking sausage rolls................no point in cooking cookies with him as he does not have a sweet tooth at all................so sausage rolls it is.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Deb I can do without them both - as you know lol

Not only am I preparing - the whole of Freo is too.  It is awash with purple and the shopkeepers have done an amazing job.  Purple flags flying on cranes, lots of purple flags on flagpoles in private homes, treetrunks wrapped in purple, dogs with purple rinses and dockerchinos available on the Cappuchino Strip lol

It's all a bit of fun and anyone who says it isn't is a real grinch Smiley LOL

Re: Round Table Revisited

My son was in Fremantle on the weekend Laney.  He said there was purple everywhere.  He said that there was a walking strip in the middle of a road and even that had been painted purple.

I don't want to watch the game but I'm hoping like mad that it's a win.  It's going to be a tough one.

Re: Round Table Revisited

I remember years ago deciding to play a trick on a friend of mine...................she is a ST Kilda fan through and through.

So I made a sign and tied all these blue and white balloons to it and hammered it into her nature strip.

No I thought she had no idea it was me who had don it until about 10.30 that night there she was out the front of my hour with the sign over her shoulder singing the St Kilda theme song really loudly.........Cat LOL
