Is anyone alse watching The Block this season.
My MIL was saying yesterday that the Hotel they are doing up this year was where she stayed last year when her son had his heart transplant................I thought it must have been an old unused building................but apparently now.
Back after room reveal....................................maybe......![]()

Flashie, we had a piano too. It is only recently I asked my older sister where on earth it came from because I don't think we ever had enough cash left over from savings to buy one. We decided it must have been left to us by a relative as there were some stories of a wealthy relative dying when I was very young.
We also gathered around it as often as possible and we girls would practice and present dance concerts. We did the Can Can at first but were encouraged to think of other dances to perform. My mother later told me when I was a lot older that she stopped us doing the Can Can when she learned that the dancers in the Moulin Rouge didn't wear undies and she was shocked LOL LOL

I can well believe it. The Irish are pretty good at blood feuds too. When we were planning a trip to Ireland we looked at staying one night in a castle that had once belonged to O'connor Sligo - who went over to the English side during the 16th Century. When I mentioned it to an Irish friend - an O'donnell - he scowled and said "O"Connor Sligo: now there's a man should have been drowned at birth."![]()

I can't remember what the Campbell's did to upset them All I can remember is that his family were pipers
his older sis was here last week for an appointment at our local hospital.... Before she went in she said to us, can't believe I'm putting my life in the hands of a Campbell ( doctor's name) lol

We had a pianola and lots and lots of rolls. Someone (no name no pack drill) got to a couple and tried to put a couple of extra notes on them with a pin
It didn't work lol
When we got tired of practicing scales and trying Fur Elise yet again though, we could always get out another roll though. Used to love our sing songs around them - happy days.
Deb - love, love, love your chiffonier
