Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning Stringsters

I had a good sleep-in today and feel a bit more human.

It is a beautiful day today, high blue skies and so far, not too hot.

I am not sure what is on the burner today. I have declined a trip to a big local fete as I don't want to walk around in the heat. I think I will just work on my inventory and stay cool.

Good morning Stringers Smiley Happy

Felt like my eyes had been rinsed in sand this morning Smiley Indifferent

Alarm set for 3.30am so I could bid on a UK located history book I wanted and, although it was printed in Perth, had proved impossible to source for anywhere near a reasonable price.

BUT

It was worth the early start Smiley LOL

Back to bed until 7.15am and alarm again - had an 8am meeting at office Smiley Indifferent

Finally home, rest of household still asleep and am now partaking of a cold coffee after a Maccas bacon and egg burger lol lol

Wise move on your part Prim - to stay indoors after the heat of the week even though you had a good sleep in this morning.  Any news on how the 'interview' went?  Able to show her the door yet?

Flashie I hope your shoulder is feeling a tad better (at least) today.

~~~ waves to Deb, Nics and other friends who might be reading this .... and that includes you Smiley Wink
Whilst I was waiting for the auction to finish and, since none of you were around, had a read around Smiley Surprised
All I can say is some must have very unhappy lives that they have to come in here and spew forth with their bile.  Others I just love reading - they are not just flat words on a screen - and they shine a light on the happiness which they so obviously find in their day to day lives Smiley Happy
Re: Round Table Revisited
Think I can be excused for crawling back into the cot for an hour or two.
Anything that had been previously planned can WAIT!
Catch up later Smiley Happy
Re: Round Table Revisited
I used to do that too Laney. Glad you got the book, there's nothing worse than going through all that and missing out at the auction. It can be rather deflating lol
enjoy your nap
pretty humid here today, but I doubt we'll actually get any rain. Might have to water the garden tomorrow. Hope everyone is enjoying their week-end break
Re: Round Table Revisited
Where did the day go?
Managed a few hours punctuated by telephones ringing Smiley Sad
LL did not even stir when I got up again at 7.15 this morning and not even when I arrived home!  Even the telephone ringing did not wake her - anyone would think it was her who was up at 3.00am for the auction lol.
Have been up for a while now but feeling slightly disorientated - checked to make sure she was still breathing - and she has only just deigned to emerge from the bedroom and, following a 'comfort stop' has put herself back on the lounge.  Talk about a dog's life!
We have decided cooking is for the birds tonight and the thought of a Thai green chicken curry is sounding more and more appealing but too lazy to don anything more than shorts and a t-shirt.  Decision has been made that it is going to be dial and deliver .... bliss
Re: Round Table Revisited
Another busy day here.
Hubby finished Sye and Angels cat cage today............and so they do not get frightened by lawn mowing our daughter decided to gravel down that side of the house.
So I volunteered to be barrow filler.................(dumbo me..........Cat LOL).............that was a huge job.
Then she wanted a raised veggie garden put in next to the cat cage.............so I was on barrow duty again with the dirt.
But she did take us out for a counter meal to say thanks...............we were all so hungry we ere there by 5.30.
Tomorrow we are mat cutting..............hopefully no one else has any jobs for our to do list...........so we might be free in the afternoon to go somewhere.
Re: Round Table Revisited
None of our cats have been scared of thunder.
One of our daughters cats is acared of everything.........if Angel escapes she lasts about 5 minutes outside and starts crying at the door to get back in.
I got sunburnt today...........and it only got to 18 here...........I burn so easy....I thought I got a bit of a tan today............but false alarm............only dirt..............Cat LOL
