So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

We had a huge day yesterday.............and my muscles are protesting today.

We cleaned out our SIL's house as he is moving...................washed walls...........floors and carpets.

Mowed the enormous yards..............rubbish to the tip.

The grand chldren tried to help................but soon got sick of it.

So they decided to entertain themselves by making human tacos.

Good afternoon folks - time got away with me this morning - so afternoon it is.

Laney the cheesecake was a big hit and so was the strawberry sauce.

Nothing earth-shattering to report on a personal level - bushfires all around though - from Broome down to Esperance.  Lots of alerts and 'watch and acts' 

More sleepless nights coming up for those poor folks fire affected 

Workwise things are hotting up - some major changes which will require me to put in more hours for the next couple of months.

Damned dummy spitters - blowed if we are going to change our holiday plans to go east in March though.

Oh well - keeps the grey matter working lol

Welcome to "Meatball Tuesday"...............I have 3kg of meatballs to make for tomorrows birthday celebration.

I have one very excited grandson today...........he gets to take his $20 to school for the Kiva loan..........and he has earned every cent of it.

Congrats to your Grandie for all his hard work - those memories will form another colourful square in the patchwork of his life as he grows up.  What a lovely pattern he will create, particularly if he has inherited your gentle humour lol

Woken by the bins being emptied this morning - not a bad thing as I have to head into work anyway.
