Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

did anyone happen to see last night's meteor shower?? It was way too cloudy here last night to see anything.

I'm heading off to Hamilton St, this morning to meet up with mum and dad for a coffee... it will be our final meet up there for the year. I stayed up too late last nujght, so dragging my feet a bit this morning

Re: Round Table Revisited

Deb..........I was up at 3am watching  Doctor Quinn Medicine woman.............and then Touched by an Angel.

Sleep and I have never been good friends.

Our grand daughter did a great job today....................Cat Happy

She also won the environmental award...............and our eldest grandson won the citizen ship award from Rotary...............(again...............he won it last year too................this child is going to be one heck of a gentleman when he is older..............I see it now)

Youngest grandson  was a wonderful reindeer...............I will put his picture on twitter and you can see his "attitude" all over his face.

The other grandson was not impressed with today at all...............school sadly is a chore and not a pleasure for him.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Flashie, you must be as bad as me, I went to bed about 3am last night too. I've always been a bit of a night owl and seem to function on very little sleep ( unlike others in this household)

well done to your grandies Flashie,  you must be very proud of them all.

They are all different and the one who doesn't like school so much will find find his way

My old lolcat thread was at the top.

I thought for a minute I had some how posted on the wrong thread............(I have been known to do that)

Kinda glad someone else has been having that problem too Flashie - thought it was the operator (me) lol

Sounds like it's all been happning in your household Flashie - congratulations to your grandies for their awards .... one justifiably proud grannie on the scene Smiley Very Happy

Didn't see the meteor shower Deb - seems the west missed out on that.

Lemon slices and a cuppa with your folks Deb - does not get much better than that.

Dreadful storm over east - have just been speaking to my kin - it hit them hard up there also apparently but no tornados and no damage - just very noisy and wet!

I see you are losing your local member Deb - shame because I know what high esteem you hold her in.  I thought she was a very good speaker too Smiley Happy

Worked yesterday and was looking forward to two days off - went to the podiatrist this morning - always come out feeling like I am walking on air .... and then a pre-Christmas lunch with friends at a favourite little Chinese restaurant down j's way.  Perfect day weather-wise - a really good to be alive day today (but then every day is that really).

Tomorrow is earmarked to do nothing - zilch, nada .... working again on Friday and then all next week to cover someone who is taking a week off.

Thats my lot - so please excuse my extended absences ... hopefully in the New Year things will ease up a bit as I am feeling pretty tired atm.

yes Laney, I read her announcement yesterday, it's a shame to see her go- she's been a very good member in our community for something like the past 17 years
