Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

I agree Debra - I also liked Sylvie whatever her name is Smiley Very Happy.  Think Daryll Sommers should stick to comedy and let someone else sing .... and he needs a new jacket!

Goodnight - up at 5.30am to watch the kids opens their gifts so better get to bed.

Thanks laney .... you've been a good sounding board Smiley Wink.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Sandy, when we first moved here, Marina Prior used to do Christmas Carols in the local park here. I just couldn't believe my luck, she would sing herself with her choir for a solid hour. It was beautiful. She has moved on from here, which is a shame ( for us)

Agree about Daryl Summers, though we used to love hey hey it's Saturday.. Singing isn't one of his attributes

5.30 am? It's been a few years since I've had to do that on Christmas morning, but I fo remember it well lol

Flashie, SSHHH.... I don't want to even think about that yet.

thanks Ooak, we've had a lovely Christmas...one of the highlights is guesing grandpas mystery present ( his clues are pretty funny, has the kids IIn hysterics)

Hope you've had a great Christmas Day too

Re: Round Table Revisited

morning all Smiley Happy

Is everyone in recovery mode?? I am, I don' t think I'll feel like eating for a few days

I was thinking of heading to the Boxing Day sales, but really they have they same sales on all month, so not sure i can be bothered.

It was so hot last night, then a cool change came through with very strong wind that made the windows rattle. This morning have woken up to a cooler temp and some steady rain I hope they got the say around Lorne. 53 homes lost around Wye River I heard, terrible thing to happen to the people down there. there are also very lage koala populations around that area

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi Deb Smiley Happy

Very difficult times for those impacted by the fires but at least there were no lives lost!  Houses CAN be rebuilt - just hope their insurances were in order - increased to take into account increased costs of rebuilding AND that their premiums were paid up.

We have holidayed in Kennett River in past years as you have done in Wye River ..... Lorne was certainly lucky ... hope it stays that way.

Hope you had a happy Christmas Day ..... what WAS grandpa's mystery present?

Was just reading about the Sydney to Hobart - definitely not an armchair ride!  I recall for many years being glued to the reports as my Dad was a 'Hobart' man.

Cricket pretty disasppointing at the moment - the Windies used to be a force to be reckoned with ... sad to see their decline.

Bring on the tennis lol lol
