However, he also said that any outstanding gift vouchers held by customers will not be honoured and deposits will not be refunded.
Instead, consumers in those situations will have to stand in line with other unsecured creditors of the company and may only get a small fraction of their money back.
the dangers of buying gift vouchers for Christmas presents
we got caught out a few years ago when the same happened to Angus & Robertson bookstores

Good afternoon Friends ![]()
Home, showered and cooled down, got rid of more dust, cool drink at hand and laughing my head off ![]()
Flashie - your gentle humour is classic ![]()
More power to you my friend!
Deb I well remember the problems and loss you had with the A & R demise - feel very sorry for those people who have now been caught by the DS situation.
Had a good day today and achieved heaps. Given with weather in Sydney I was not even distracted by the cricket lol
A day off tomorrow - blessed relief (hopefully not famous last words)
Some fresh coral trout for dinner - just lemon butter and broccolini to go with it ..... why spoil such a beautiful fish.
More tennis on the agenda here ![]()
Hope you had a super day - look forward to hearing how Flashie's day working in the yard went.
One, two, three, four, five .......... such a lovely, caring family

Beautiful but very hot day here and the message from the office went right through to the answering machine lol
Ventured out early then home to play a few exhausting sets of tennis - in the airconditioning lol
Apart from that, little to report - just a good day.
Hope yours was the samel

Hey Laney, I was so pumped watching Lleyton last night I had a little sook when he won. What a great show of sportsmanship shown by young Jack Sock last night.

Freddie!!!!
Another tennis tragic ![]()
Wasn't Jack Sock's sportsmanship just fantastic? What a lovely young man and I hope the Americans are just as proud of him. When
you see so many tantrums and poor sportsmanship around, something like that really reinvigorates your interest .... at least it does
mine lol
The umpire's reaction was funny too - he was quite nonplussed by it all lol

I haven't been watching it girls.. but I DO like his name ![]()
My approval??????
Have you ever needed it before?????

Deb
It was a crucial point in the first set. Hewitt's serve was called out and Jack Sock told him to challenge it as it was in .... Lleyton's amazement was hysterical as was the umpire's reaction. He challenged it and it was in ....... Lleyton ended up winning his match.
Great to see ![]()
Deb 'good' is not the right word but maybe some create drama because their lives are lacking something. Who would know .... or care!
Not me!
