Perfect day for staying indoors out of the heat and watching the tennis - we went over the ton today!
Ghastly fire down south Deb - very fast and still not controlled. It is impacting on so many down there and our thoughts go out to them all. The loss of property can be devasatating and it is trite to say you can get over it but it is the danger to people themselves that is uppermost in most minds I would think.
Lets hope they can all make there way to safe places until the worst has passed.
Have been watching some great tennis and more to come tonight so will probably not be around.
Back to the grind tomorrow.

they got some rain Laney? not enough though, seems the fire is still going over there
I keep missing you on here with our time difference
No rain on the horizon here.
It is suppose to be nice and warm for the next week.
Next time I say I have volunteered to paint and clean up a yard will someone please remind how exhauasting this one has been.
My arms look like I have been through a barbed wire fence.............scratches everywhere.................but I will be darned if I was going to let that tree beat me...............nor was I going to pay some ridiculous price for someonne to cut them down.
I am not going to tackle the stumps though.
In one of the rooms I was getting ready to paint last night............I washed the walls...................and the paint washed off.....................seriously...............it just washed right off.............I have no idea what they painted it with.......................not anything I provided..........
I have to have it all finished for the new tenant by next weekend.
Thank goodness hubby is helping me................or I would never get through it all.

Morning Ladies,
Those fires over west have been so destructive,so many houses have been lost and I still heard this morning 3 or 4 people are still missing...Australia is a wonderful country but so much of the land is tinder dry and just ready to burn....up north floods down south bushfires..
Melissa has 3 weeks to go before having her baby she is so over this pregnancy,lots of issues with pain,carpel tunnel and numbness have effected her badly especially at night...poor girl is lucky to get 3 hours sleep before waking in pain..one of the joys of been pregnant!!
Gary and I are still an item been nearly 6 months now..we get on well and a big bonus is he and Oscar get on so well!!lol

weird weather, floods and fire, one extreme to the the other

How exciting Nics.....your daughter will be glad once baby finally arrives.
One of my best friends has two daughters who are due to have babies in the next month.
Back to painting and gardening today..........I am just waiting for the washing machine to finish.
My back will be pleased when all this is done..............I had real trouble sleeping last night..........I woke up every time I turned over in bed.
Hubby has been going mad at me for doing to much.................but he knows what I am like when I have made up my mind to do something..............I appreciate his concern.................but this job needs doing.........and I am going to do it.........................
