I saw on the news Flashie, fires still raging  in some places and flooding in others...weird weather. We've had a cold wet day today and miss kitty is back with her baby... They've been under the trailer most of the day... And have eaten well

hope tomorrow goes well for you Flashie, looks like you might have to stay indoors.. And happy birthday to Mr Flashie

I got into trouble this morning from hubby for feeding those cats- he told me they've moved in and are sleeping on the veranda

Afternoon folks 

Don't think I got in yesterday - it was a real killer over here and by the time I got home from work I was feeling very ordinary.  

I did watch the tennis though lol

Very disappointing for Milos Raonich - he was playing so well up until he sustained that injury.  Can understand the frustration which made him smash his racquet - out of the ordinary for him these days too.  Never mind - there is the rest of the season if his injury is not too bad - and always next year!

The rain today is beautiful but we didn't get an enormous amount here in Freo - enough to cool down the pavements though. Looks like the hills got quite a bit though (~~~~J~~~~).

Official opening of Elizabeth Quay yesterday - laser light shows on for the next three weeks.  Being NOR no idea when we will get in to have a look around .... will go when the school holidays are over and the crowds have lessened.  The water feature sure looked tempting yesterday though.

~~~~~~ Laney, Milos had Murray up until his injury prevented him from pushing off I was so sad for him he was playing an amazing game and was on his way for a win. 

Toasted sambo's finished now a coffee and a kick back to watch Williams get beaten

when I looked at the game ( quite awhile ago) ms Williams was one set down and losing the second

Thanks Deb...............birthday celebrations went great.

The weather held off........................so we got to set up the jump castle.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmm........we all had a ball jumping on it.

Hubby and I decided to call into the hardware place in the afternoon.................and bought a 10 seater outdoor table and chairs......................and tried putting it together before everyone turned up..............(as you do..........)

Well we got it together...............but apparently we put the backs of two chairs on back to front........so a few guest had a bit of an uncomfortable seat.

We managed to get through an industrial baking dish size vanillla slice...............and a HUGE box of drumsticks.
