What a fantastic women's singles match and totally agree Freddie - what a lovely girl she is and so very natural too.

Men's final did not hold a candle to the women's singles.

Well thats it for another yead (until Wimbledon, the French and US opens and the Olympics )

Hi Laney... Those cats are strange, so far they disappear for a couple of days.. Then come back here to be fed. One of our cats doesn't want to go outside when they're here, the other one just keeps an eye on them from a distance.

I wonder how Nics new grand-gaughter is settling in at home

Too hot to be doing anything here today..............well that is my excuse.

Our grand daughter had her first day at High School today...............only the grade 7;s went.

So far she loved it................it is so different for her...........she went to a small Primary School.........and now a huge HIgh School...................but she is a bright girl...........and friendly..........so she soon will find her way.

We are going away again this weekend......................our daughter and her husband and four children are coming too.

I have a play date with our youngest grand daughter to build a sand castle with shells to decorate it..............no seaweed..........(that is for the boys)

The men are going on a fishing trip................(I bought it for hubbys birthday).................I hope they enjoy it.............I will feel much happier when they are back............(I go into panic mode around deep water............all my childhood nightmares were of drowning............and I have never shook that fear..........)

Hi Flashie after another hot humid day yesterday I looked at Mr F and said "i'm moving to Flashie's place" he looked at me like who on earth is Flashie  When I said Tassie he said see ya!!!!!!
