We had to get our hot water sylinder fixed the other week and gee I had trouble trying to get the electrician to tell me an approximate time he would be here.

And then he finally said about 10ish...........and then turned up at 7 in the morning.................

it's much cooler outside here tonight.. everyone should sleep a bit better

How's this for organised I was up at 4.a.m. I had chicken thighs marinating for dinner tonight - so I thought I will get dinner cooked before it gets too hot - dinner cooked by 6.30a.m. Mr F woke and thought I had cooked him breakfast  Now all we need to do is wack it in the mic.

Freddie, you were up at 4am cooking??? .....  ... *faints* ....... then again, if the days are hot the kitchen isn't the best place to be!

So glad you are recovered from the awful flu now, what a ghastly time of year to be hit with that ..  , not that any time isn't horrible to have it, just that it is particularly nasty to get it now.

Today is going to be somewhat calmer, I've 'scheduled' the hours with as much clarity as possible.

Luckily, we're having a real taste of winter here right now .. seems kind of crazy that the mainland is sweltering in places and yet it's so different on the island.
