So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

well, we've never seen MissKitty and co. again. I keep looking for them around the neighborhood, but no sign of them  I wondered where they went?

I had best go on two walks today............way too many choc-chip biscuits yesterday.il

I am taking the left over cookies around to our grandchildren so I am not tempted.

I have to go into town today to claim back some money from Medibank........I found the receipts in the cupboard this morning from back in October last year.....................Oops!

Too late Deb...........they are already gone............along with the banana cake.

I told them there will be no more Nanny cooking until next week............another birthday hat outing.

Our eldest grandson was picked by his school to lay the wreath in the local Anzac Day parade...........he is so proud and nervous..............I really love that he understands that it is important to remember.

But I wont be here to see him do it..............we are away for that weekend...........I hope they take lots of pictures.

What a shame you'll be away for that Flashie, it is quite an honour to be chosen to represent the school at the wreath laying ceremony. You'll have to make sure they take plenty of photos for you.

since the weather has turned cooler, I feel like I'm eating everything in sight.. will have to put an end to that or I'll be very sorry soon when my clothes don't fit. Lol

we have some lovely autimn weather here for a couple of days. I have a big awkward parcel to package today. will have to start fiddling around with that soon
