are you pleased with the new fence Laney?
weird day here today, sunny one minute, cloudy and rain the next
'music' was probably the wrong word to describe the cacophony Deb
It's just a fence Deb .... can't get too excited about it but at least it is done now.
Lost two old jasmine plants though - was just enjoying the perfume when the fence went lol
Had a good afternoon here - busy in town with the school holidays and some sort of treasure hunt on.
With the blue skies lots of photographers around - stood and watched a fashion photo shoot ... the poor model must have been freezing as she had very flimsy dresses to model
Quite 'goose-bumpy' down by the water ..............
Public holiday for you tomorrow?

That's a shame about the jasmines. They're pretty hardy though. do you think they'll grow back? It'll be a few years before they take over the fence again
yes, public holiday tomorrow - everywhere I went today I saw Bullogs colours , even though we are on the "other" side of town

Unfortunately Deb, hardy though they were - 'were' being the operative word - the fence going down took all their root systems and the gardens where they were growing have disappeared now
That was part of the 'damage' when we got home - the tradies had replaced the bricks they dislodged - and bricked over the gardens too
Not an insurmountable problem really - we still have one huge jasmine left but I am going to attack that with the secateurs over the weekend.
I am not surprised about the doggies colours everywhere - that the Swans were originally from Vic. their move north would not have done much to endear them to the Vics.
Have an enjoyable day tomorrow Deb - I have an early morning meeting so no skiving off for me lol

Morning Deb
Blowing a gale here this morning. Sad to see a baby whale washed up on our beach this morning
The white caps on the Sound are amazing and there are palm fronds on the ground everywhere.
A good day to be indoors and watching the GF here - go the Doggies!
Enjoy your day, the match and all that goes with it

Hi folks.
Best wishes for your team today, Deb.
Sad about the baby whale, Laney, nature is so heartless and wasteful - it's one of the reasons I can't bring myself to believe in "intelligent design."

Wow - what a game and what a great result (sorry to your OH Prim).
All the barracking has exhausted us
Never given the argument of 'intelligent design' as opposed to 'natural selection' much thought TGSE. Some things I just take for granted.
Some discussion as to whether it was actually a 'baby' whale or a young female given it's size - sad nonetheless.
We made the right decision staying indoors - intermittent heavy rain and strong winds with more to come apparently.
Come on Spring ........ get with the programme

oh that's sad about the whale Laney- I hate hearing about whale strandings etc. Poor thing
Thanks She-ele not exactly my team ( I wish it was mine playing today ) )
but I think most of Melb was barracking today for the underdogs

though daylight savings starts this weekend, it seems pretty darn cold. I'm sure it was warmer this time last year

Good morning and happy DST to those who get it/have it.
No clock changing here today although I would not complain if we had to do it as we enjoyed it when it was trialled. Can understand, however, why those living way up north don't want it.
Lazy day here - exhausted after the AFL GF yesterday - slept in late and have the day off ...., bonus.
Enjoy your Sunday folks and whatever you have planned.
Might spend some time in the garden today if the rain holds off for long enough.
