Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Hi Deb

Pretty nice day here today - at least this afternoon.  Folks were even swimming at the beach Smiley Surprised

Tomorrow is looking good and I was planning on a day off .... you know that saying about the best laid plans of mice and men?  Well, my day off has gone out the window grrrrr.

Another day passed Deb - that has to be good news Smiley Happy

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi Deb

Just waving ~~~~ to say hello.

Comp problems at the office today but not a first world problem.  A non-productive day (except for the techies and the gas stations) as I had to do some to-ing and fro-ing to the techies office to get the problem resolved pronto as they were unable to get down to the office.

It will be back tomorrow - no data lost thankfully - and all back to normal (whatever that is).

I don't want to see another computer tonight - so its goodnight from me lol

Re: Round Table Revisited

We had those horrible 100K winds today Laney.. Trees down and power out all over the place. All good here though except for the loss of a very old " Blue Moon" Rose bush the other day in  the wind. I'm sorry to have lost it, I don't think it can be saved.

Re: Round Table Revisited

We heard about the dreadful weather and winds Deb .... trees down and power outages Smiley Sad

Glad to hear the only damage you suffered was the loss of your rose bush.  It made me wonder how Nics got on with her rose which was damaged in a previous storm (I think).

The age of your rose bush suggests that the roots were well established so perhaps you will see new growth from the base if it is still in the ground ..... hopefully anyway.

Nothing of great interest to report from here in the wonderful west - an enjoyable but busy weekend and some improved weather.  The week ahead is looking promising too so in between work, we might be able to get into the garden and knock out some of the weeds which, with all the rain we have had, have been shooting up like ........ well, like weeds!!!

Enjoy the week ahead Deb - catch up soon

Re: Round Table Revisited

not much new to report here Laney.. will chop back and try to tape that fallen rose on the weekend. It still looks pretty healthy though it's only hanging on by a thread

at last we've got some decent weather coming up.. it's been worse than mid-winter here.. whatever happened to Spring?

Re: Round Table Revisited

Where DID that week go Smiley Surprised

Morning Deb and all our other friends Smiley Happy

A patchy week weatherwise - yesterday was one of the worst with incredible wind and very heavy rain.  Those who dared to brave the weather out on the sound were having a really rough ride ....... not sure why they bothered really.  Little thought for those who might have to put themselves at risk to help them if they had problems!

Fine weather forecast today so it's going to be a long overdue day in the garden attacking the weeds lol

Our gardeners at work have given us a supply of their 'potions' which are working well at the office so we are hoping it gives us similar results.

How is the rose rescue going Deb?

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi Laney.. we've been getting more than our fair share of windy weather here too, the rose is starting to wilt and it's been too wind this weekend for us to try and do anything with it. It's a shame because it's coverd in buds

Re: Round Table Revisited

Shame about the rose Deb - maybe through the week conditions might be better and enable you to get out there and try and save it.

It has been a magic day here - achieved quite a bit in the garden but still more to go and horror of horrors we have had an explosion of bindi-eyes Smiley Mad

At least they are still in that bright green stage and easy to see - and to dig out before they start spreading their seeds before the heat of summer.

I have decided to take a couple of days off from work this week since the forecast is looking good so we can attack them with vigour before they get any worse.

Time to think about dinner (not only think about it though) and put the feet up and enjoy Kevin McCloud.

Catch up through the week hopefully - have a good one Smiley Happy
