Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Deb I never really thought about the expense of it but, when I reflected on it I nearly fell off my chair.  More than 10K annually - 20K for both of usSmiley Frustrated

Not sure what motivated me - but I am glad it did lol.

Don't worry though Deb - I will not hound you ..... I know what reformed smokers are like Smiley Wink

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hubby has not smoked now for 2 years.

Well done on becoming a non-smoker Laney.

Hope everyone had a great Easter.

We did the usual picnic at the Botanicla Gardens.

The grandchildren had a ball.

We had a few extra kids tag along when we did the Easter egg hunt.......their parents were a tad worried about them gate crashing..............but kids just want to join in the excitement.

We did an egg pinata............tied it in a huge tree..........on smack and the stupid thing broke...so we had to tie it back up.

Then we tied donuts in the tree and covered them in whipped cream and we had to eat them with our hands behind our backs.

Fun...........but geez we were messy.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Oh Flashie how nice to see you!

I can just imagine what fun you and your family had today.  You would win the prize for the most fun family for kids and grandies to grow up in - makes my heart sing to think of all the laughter and hi-jinks you and yours get up to.  Should be more of it in the world - would make it a far better place.

Did any of the donuts get completely consumed or was it a case of cream all round and donuts left hanging?

Re: Round Table Revisited

Laney, I've been watching Broadchurch, but not Halcyon.

We've had a quiet Easter - just the two of u - but I cooked a lamb roast with all the trimmings for dinner tonight and we are going to lunch with a distant rellie of Mr Elephant's tomorrow.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi TGSE

Try and catch up with Halcyon - I think you would enjoy it.

Quiet for us here too - we even have some hot cross buns left over lol

I have been hankering for a lamb roast with all the trimmings for ages and your mention of it just made me salivate more ..... it is now on the menu for tomorrow lol

Easter is a 'staying at home time' for us, particularly since town is so busy at the moment.  I am sure you will enjoy your get-together tomorrow though Smiley Happy

I bet nics is glued to the TV watching her Cats .... and Flashie's kin to their Hawks Smiley Surprised

No answers from me re Broadchurch either - maybe the taxi driver, maybe the mechanic - who would know.

Lamb roast postponed here - in favour of a curry.

Nics I recall you recommending a book - Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking - I bought it but it was so boring I didn't get past the Foreward Smiley LOL

Free to good home if anyone wants it Smiley Wink
