Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

I am back.

Can't say it was one of our best holidays though.

Unfortunately hubby was sick for most of it.

Where we were staying someone had turned up the fridge to maximum...........and we didn't know.

On about the 3rd day we were there we were watching the news and heard a big bang.

It came from the fridge................OMG!

You should have seen the mess.....................a can of Pepsimax had exploded.

We had to take everything out of the d and clean it.

It is amazing how far one can went.

The top just clean blew off it

And I forgot to take my camera................*grumble grumble*

I took the charger...........and an extra memory card.........and left the camera on the kitchen table.

Indy was in a poopy with us when we got back............she wouldn't talk to us............just kept on giving us "death stares"

But she soon forgave us when she got to outside  for her regular "tree time"

I bought hubby tickets to a footy game here later in the season..............I'll go with him even though I hate football if he comes to a few cemeteries with me.

Re: Round Table Revisited

welcome back Flashie 🙂

that's a shame about your holiday , it sounds like nearly everything went wrong.

I hope you get to do a 'take 2'' soon

I've never heard of a can exploding in the fridge before... can imagine the mess  Woman Surprised

the footy versus cemetery visits sound like a fair deal to me  Woman LOL

Re: Round Table Revisited

We once had a few bottle of homemade ginger beer explode in the fridge, but never a can.

We are off to a wedding today - one of our granddaughters. It looks like it's going to be a lovely sunny afternoon for it.

Re: Round Table Revisited

The 45th American presidency and the 45th Eagles Dockers derby.

Both a horrible loss 😞

Re: Round Table Revisited

Both will hopefully pass in time  Smiley Frustrated

Could be a lot worse though ......... could be followers of the Swans or the Hawks Smiley LOL

Spoiler
Sorry to Prim's OH and to the Flashie Clan

Just catching up on what you are all doing.  Flashie sorry to read you had a few problems on your trip away - forgetting your camera was the least of the problems I expect.  Hope your OH is 100% back on deck now and that if the footy tickets you got him are for a Hawks match .... that they lift their game Smiley Wink

Lost a few bottles of wine trying to cool them down quickly in the freezer and then forgetting them ..... in the days when corks were still used lol

Beautiful day for a wedding TGSE - absolutely perfect weather.  Hope it was a wonderful day for all.

Deb your OH's team are going well at the moment - he must be really pleased.  At least you don't have to play Nic's boys this weekend lol

Hope everything else is going well for you all.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Well I had a busy weekend...............but got nothing on my "TO DO" list done.

We mowed lawns and did gardens...............but I was suppose to paint the loungeroom window sill.

Back to school for the grandchildren tomorrow...........our grandson picked cheese and garlic muffins for me to make him this week.

He will be thrilled with them.............no so sure about the others.

But they will get their turn.

Our little grand daughter is off to Queensland to meet some of her mothers family this week..............so we will have our youngest son home again while she is gone.
