So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

it's been a tough year.. some good times, some dark times.. but we are always there for each other

My sentiments exactly Deb 

The steadfastness of our group of friends warms my heart ...... bound by many shared mores and values.  

To those friends and to those who are unable to post here or choose not to for whatever reason, genuine wishes for a peaceful Christmas from the wonderful west.  

The perfume of mangoes, nectarines, peaches and apricots is filling the house .......... luscious figs, sultana grapes and watermelon ...... loving this time of the year with the summer fruits.

Shopping all done ........ books piled up waiting to be read over the holidays (cricket permitting).

Airconditioning on - just need to decide what to do today - no more shopping that is for sure.  Will leave that to you Deb - with your PhD in shopping
