Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi Deb

The figure skating is lovely to watch....... so graceful!  I remember going to see Torville and Dean when they were in Sydney many moons ago.

Talking of moons, looks like the wonderful west will be in the box seat to watch the eclipse tonight.  Weather forecast is good and looks like we will have a cloudless sky.

The chart in the link here gives all the times for viewing right around the country.

Have a good day friends Smiley Happy

I bet J's phone is howling Deb Smiley LOL

Had forgotten about the impact of full moon on some ........ reading around the traps the past day or two should have reminded me Smiley Surprised

Growing up, we used to have a neighbour who, regularly, was strangely affected by the full moon - an older lady, she used to dress all in white, wander up and down her front pathway thinking she was the Virgin Mary and saying she was rewriting the bible.  Glad we did not live in the 'social/antisocial' media age then Smiley Wink

Re: Round Table Revisited

Morning Deb and ~~~~ to Friends also Smiley Happy

Being a tennis tragic I have been watching the Davis Cup round against Germany.  The 'Demon' played magnificently and almost took out Sasha Zverev ..... was a fabulous match to watch.  We have much to look forward to in the future with Alex de Minaur in our camp!

Nick's match win looked effortless although he says not.  More to come today .... what a great summer of tennis it has been/is.

The humidity here the past couple of days has been 'typically February' - I forget every year how awful it is.  Still, with airconditioning it is at least comfortable.

Enjoy your weekend folks.  Look forward to hearing a progress report from Freddie Heart

Re: Round Table Revisited

Wellllllllllllllllllllllllll ....................

Not quite the hoped for result but it was a pleasant change to watch matches without the all too frequent sound effects!

That will not be the case for the FED Cup next weekend Smiley Mad

Winter Olympics commence on Friday .... the opening ceremony is going to be ummmmmm 'interesting' with North Korea now participating.

Well that is the latest from this sports reporter ........... we will now return you to the usual programming and might actually get some things done around the place this coming week Smiley LOLSmiley LOLSmiley LOL
