Hi Deb
Hi also to our other friends - MIA or not ..........
You know who you are
Delighted to read the news of Oaks successful operation - I suspect, like me, many posters who do not post on her 'home thread' were also holding their breaths waiting to hear.
Lovely day here today - like magnets we went back to our favourite restaurant on the River. Black swans floating by ..... no dolphins today though. Still a lovely location and not too hot today either. We were commenting on how lucky we are to live close by .... and we are
Deb I hope the weather has improved for you and your walking is more pleasant

Hi folks. The wanderer returns - I hope you didn't think I'd wanderd too close to the edge of the world and fallen off.
Believe it or not, we've got some weather here today - quite good weather in fact.
And while I can't admit to going for a walk, we did take the ebikes out for a spin and had coffee with friends in the cafe at the Wildlife Park
I never could understand why people would feel compelled to read stuff that upset them. Could it be a form of masochism?

~~~~~Morning folks~~~~~
Don't talk about walking TGSE .......... I have just been watching the ladies moguls qualifiers
Every bump and hump made me think of Freddie and her knee ..... not to mention mine
Doing a 'Ladies who Lunch' today and trying out a new riverside restaurant ..... perfect weather for it
Enjoy the opening ceremony tonight if anyone is going to watch it.
A reminder to any tennis fans - the FED Cup is on tomorrow (if you can put up with the grunts and screeches).
Have a good one Friends
~~~~ slowly coming out of the drug induced pain haze .
Pain is less often so hopefully half way up the hill now.
I just really really want to go for a walk - but need to wait
a while yet. My ice packs are my bestest friend - I will probably
get to watch the Opening Ceremony tonight because I napped most
of the morning

TGSE do let me know when you are heading up to my neck of the woods and we will see what we can arrange. We could even compare notes on cataract operations
Freddie - it sounds like you are at least improving a little. Each day will hopefully be another positive step on the path to a full recovery for you.
Did you manage to watch the Opening Ceremony?
FED Cup tomorrow so it is going to be decision time
Until the morrow friends ............

Thanks Deb i'm feeling crook on the stomach all the time
and battle to eat. Apart from the endone targin
panadol blood thinners i'm also needing to get these
anti b's down - so many tablets yuk! The blood thinners
finished last night and the AB's tonight until I see the Doc
on Monday so fingers crossed the infection has cleared and
no need for more AB's.
