Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Kept head down until it was too late to get hit with April Fools jokes - don't need a special day for that though .......

Hope you are all having a happy and peaceful Easter Sunday.

Happy Easter everyone.

I hope everyone had a great day.

We had our annual picnic at the Botanical Gardens.

This is our youngest grand daughter.............she had a ball chasing seagull for ages.

Re: Round Table Revisited

I hope it did not rain on your parade today Flashie.

The usual laughter filled day in the Flashie household I bet ....... did your granddaughter manage to get close to any seagulls?

A lovely day nonetheless Smiley Happy

Re: Round Table Revisited

Exhausting week - AFL and the Commonwealth Games!

Just wonderful to see the integration of able-bodied with disabled athletes - after all that is what real life is about!

Some really amazing performances and good sportsmanship demonstrated.

Warms the heart and restores the faith.

Well done to all the amazing athletes.

Catch up later in the week friends - Stringer waves to those present and absent ~~~~~

Re: Round Table Revisited

Well now that the dust has settled - well almost - normal transmission will apply Smiley LOL

Much ado about the closing ceremony ..........  I just wish the media tart would pull his head in ........ and the cricket broadcasting contracts ......... Worner, Sutherland and the forgettable Fox fellow can also pull their heads in ....... none of which is worth doing a dummy spit over. Think I am more put out by Channel 7 delaying the broadcast to the west just to put on an MKR episode Smiley Frustrated

Seriously, so much more to be concerned about in the world but I could not help commenting on the above Smiley LOL

NOW normal transmission can apply Smiley Very Happy

Hope friends are all well. Will try and catch up with my mail - have been slack the past few weeks.   I suspect Freddie might still be smarting about the netball results though.  If only she had been able to put her netball shoes back on!!

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hi Laney - like you I enjoyed the Comm Games the Aussie

team done well with their collection of medals. Even though

the closing ceremony was a bit disappointing I was pleased

to see Aussie talent used. The netball was a nail biting game

and a great show of fitness and ball handling skills just a shame

the Diamonds came up short. I think my netty shoes have

cobwebs on them lol

Re: Round Table Revisited

As long as the knee and associated issues are on the improve Freddie, the netty shoes can be de-cobwebbed - even if not for their original use.

When I listen to the news or have a read around the traps I really wonder where the world is headed.  It really makes my skin crawl when I hear about the current case of swingers club child abuse here in WA - I cannot work out what is wrong with these people! 'Real sickos' is a term which does not even go any way to describing them Smiley Mad

Anti-social media seems to enable posters elsewhere, who have often adopted totally contradictory nicknames, to make the most disgusting statements.  It does give another perspective of the true nature of some erstwhile/current feral posters on these boards though.

Nellie Melba has nothing on some Smiley Wink
