Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

~~~ Laney you cheeky thang Woman LOL my behind me issues
are certainly in the past in fact Mr and I went for a big walkies
along the river yesterday and i'm about to head off again today.
I start off warm clothes and need to peel down part way through
our walk -  I have progressed to not needing a stop for a
breather yay me!! You probably know nothing about our footy
the real game Woman Tongue but NSW flogged QLD in our
State of Origin games 2 up and the 3rd game is 11th July 2
of the NSW players are from here one I played netball with his Aunty
the other his Father went to school and was mates with my son.
Kyrgios sure is a grub - I wonder how is parents fell about his
antics - embarrassed I would imagine.
Re: Round Table Revisited
Freddie!!!! As a RUGBY gal previously, I know very little about THUGBY but surprisingly I did see the news about NSW besting the banana-benders Smiley LOL  Well done to yours Freddie!
Something I just read reminded me of that saying 'the standard you walk past is the standard you accept'.  The paths some take when they reach the crossroads are indicative of their true selves and despite trying to hide in sheeps clothing their true natures are clearly evident.
Freddie I do hope his parents are embarrassed.  As a product of their upbringing, I have to wonder though - apples falling from trees come to mind.
Friends popped in for lunch which was a nice surprise as we had nothing planned.  They returned a lovely old wooden stool of mine having re-glued the stretchers which had begun to pop out.  The stool has a lovely patina - the sort it is nice to run your hands over and enjoy.  Small thing I know but one of the pleasures of old furniture.
Re: Round Table Revisited
Good afternoon folks Smiley Happy
Been pouring here since last night - give or take a few hours - the gardens sure are smiling!
Should have checked the forecast yesterday before we planned on mowing today Smiley Surprised
Just been up to the medicos to have a shingles shot.  Working with Senior Citizens it is imperative that we have all our shots so I am feeling very righteous now ........  had the trifecta.
Shame about the soccer but when you think that the Italians did not even make the cut this year, the Socceroos should be proud that they made it that far.
Watched MC last night - sweets week does not really appeal to my savoury palate so it was all a bit ho-hum - recognising, however, that for amateur cooks they certainly did some fantastic work.  Good on them ....... beyond my cooking skills Smiley Frustrated
Re: Round Table Revisited
Freddie, I thought I'd let youknow that as a resut of yout timely warning on another thread I've just (regretfuly) deleted all my eBay photos too. It shouldn't be necessary, but sadly we do all  have to be very aware of what we leave open to potential abuse. As recent events have shown us, even the most innocent photos have the potential to be used in speite and even doctored before being reposted Smiley Sad
Re: Round Table Revisited
It was not only the photographs TGSE but the abuse of the signature feature which was beyond the pale.  At least folks now know the  cut of other's jibs.
Are you enjoying this rain TGSE?  The water fowl should be back in large flocks!  I was just looking at some pics of road closures around Baldivis and bow waves of cars in the city ........ I am loving the rain but that is perhaps because I don't really HAVE to go out in it today Smiley LOL
Re: Round Table Revisited
We took our bikes round Big Swamp on Tuesday and the change is amazing. The water will be spilling out onto the road if this keeps up - and we had another 50 mls last night. Oddly though a lot of the birdlife seems to have disappeared - maybe after the rains there is now a lot more wetland available elsewhere.
I believe we've had a few roads flooded, but I haven't been out to have a look. We are off to Aldi as soon as I finish this cup of tea. They have thermal underwear advertised and I feel in need of some winter woolies.
Re: Round Table Revisited
I've also gone through and deleted any photos that could be used.. Mainly my pets and photos of my Christmas tree.  Lol
Laney i saw on the news that shingles is really on the increase.. So a good idea to have the shot
Dad had shingles a few years ago and i'd never seen him in so much pain.. It was just terrible and it took him ages to recover
