Round Table Revisited

And so Lord of the String said unto the peoples, "Go forth anew. Seek a land you can call your own."

The people saw it was good.

So, on the last day the people said their solemn goodbyes and began the long journey to the promised new land.

And so began the new land and its people were joyous!

Welcome, to the Return of the Round Table known as...

"Round Table Revisited" (RTR)

Re: Round Table Revisited

Good morning from the wonderful west Friends .........

Feeling a little bruised and battered after playing all those matches Smiley Wink

Having a do-nothing, no-sport kinda day today.

Strawberry Sunday on in Freo today but we have a supply here at home and will content ourselves with those.  Just don't feel like battling the crowds.

Was just browsing the tv programme for this evening and noticed that a new Joanna Lumley series begins on ABC tonight at 7.41 - her Silk Road Adventure commences in Venice and she travels on to Albania, Turkey and the Georgian and Armenian borders.  Sounds like good viewing Smiley Happy

Have a good day and ~~~~~ to our MIA friends

Re: Round Table Revisited

A perfectly lovely, perfectly lazy Sunday at our place today Smiley Happy

Listened to the finish of the WAFL GF match - Subiaco won all three divisions.

Reminiscent of those wonderful summer afternoons listening to the crack of willow on leather ............... these too are just around the corner so fair warning to those who I know just love cricket (not)!  Don't worry - will not bore you with the details through the summer Smiley Very Happy

Freddie did you have to break out those very speccy shoes?  Was concerned about your knee so hope not.  What was the result?

Hope everyone had an enjoyable day.  Public holiday here in the wonderful west tomorrow.  No plans as yet - will just wait and see what develops.

Re: Round Table Revisited

Happy Queen's Birthday from the wonderful west!

Some might think I am talking to myself but I know better Smiley Wink

Lovely to see that you are having a great time Sandy.  I know you are going to enjoy the country music festival too.

Freddie - those answering machines are a great way to monitor incoming calls ..... we have ours on all the time.

Tomorrow is going to be 'interesting' at the tribunal tomorrow Freddie.  I am not a thugby follower but just hate to see dishonesty or intimidation of any kind.  Interestingly on the ABC last evening his uncle phoned in (at least he declared his bias).

We watched Joanna Lumley last night - such a great programme!

~~~~~~ to friends, posting or not ~~~~~
~~~ Hello Laney no I didn't need to take the court

they won without me - so relieved I was a little concerned

about how the knee would go Woman LOL

Cool day here little bit of rain and cloudy - I think we have a

public holiday the first week-end of October - being

 retired it's easy to lose track of holidays - Laney did

you happen to catch 4 corners last week about aged care?

To be continued tonight - having spent 6 yrs in and out

visiting with my Mum I could tell a few horror stories Woman Sad

Re: Round Table Revisited

Hiya Freddie

I did not watch that Four Corners programme having experienced the aged care 'industry' with my late Father.  I have also been involved on the periphery in a voluntary capacity so deliberately chose not to watch it.

Seen enough of all those horror stories sadly Smiley Sad

Glad your speccie shoes remain unscathed lol
